Adamo said that maybe they have and another surprise driver this year.

No driver can surprise now, except if they are signing Ogier.

Austrian Raimund Baumschlager was probably the first sponsored red bull rally driver in 1993.

Was it Baumschlager's sponsor or were they just sponsoring Schmidt Motorsports in general? Also Vatanen had the Red Bull livery in his SMS Escort the following year.
