Wrc Argentina 2016

Hi boys and girls.. I am finally "properly" back from Australia, Great Barrier Reef and now back from Austria :) Had some filedwork to do and some conferences. I was following rally "slightly" for over a month and a half and this forum has been relly good to read all the information, unfortunately no possibility to post :/
I did some half-weather-prediction also for the rally and it seems that it worked..
Anyway, tomorrow we are having cold day where you should have soft tyres, on the mountains, the temperature should be +4..+6 degrees only and some light fog kind of rain might appear early in the morning. Weather should be mostly cloudy. And this rally has really narrow escape as the temperature is expected to drop as low as -4..-5 tomorrow evening and heavy snowfall is expected. Total accumulation on top of El Condor can be 20 cm of snow :) So, who stay longer, take your skis :P Snofall should start at around 7-8 in the evening :)

The other Kiwi drivers to have 2nd places (with Rod Millen) were Blair Robson (2nd to Hannu Mikkola on the 1979 Rally NZ) and Ray Wilson (2nd 1988 Rally NZ)
Possum Bourne's best was 3rd in 1987 (Rally NZ) behind Franz Wittmann and Kenneth Eriksson.
I rate Bourne's Asia Pacific title in 2000 as a privateer team on a small budget as a top effort, running a car with high cost active differentials. Asia is not an easy place to rally, one of the mechanics got legionaires one year. http://www.ewrc-results.com/profile....-Possum-Bourne
Paddon said it had taken about $4 million (NZ dollars?) about ($2million Euros) of his own sourced funding before he got behind a Hyundai steering wheel(?)

seems like the problem was the component between the seat and the steering wheel... as always, maybe it needs replacement.

Did the steering on Latvala's car break hitting the rock in the ground?

Was thinking of mentioning Millen...or Roddy as strangers seem comelled to call him like their besty mates.

But Millens a odd one..I understand he went to Britain in the 70s and was doing Group 1 stuff is some car called an Ex-squirt or sumpin.. Then I don't know where but then by very early 80s he was settled in some snazzy Los Angeles suburb and fighting a brave fight with the only American ever to do anything worth a damn in Rally, John Buffum.. And great driving it was.. Beautiful how he danced the RX7 (that was all Escort Group 4 stuff but the body and engine) Now I guess he's back in New Zealand but 30 years in 'Merikuh, I dunno...Still a Kiwi or a California boy? (I reckon still a Ned Zedder cause when I last ran into him he still had a wicked quick sense of humor and well developed sarcasm--something unheard of in California cause that would "like...harsh their mellow, man" )

Why do you even bother posting if you're going to talk rubbish? Or do you think the front right strut is betweeen the seat and the steering wheel, you can see pretty clearly what caused the crash here...

It could have been Ogier! It could have been Paddon...

So say NOT, if it had happened to Ogier would the issue still be whats between the steering wheels and seat?
