This coming week-end at the International Rally Due Valli(Italy), there will be two S2000 cars on entrylist, including Umberto Scandola in the Abarth Grande Punto :D

But it will be impossible to get a podium place as there will be many WRC cars... :rolleyes:

Correct, and the lion might be a head in front of the others, at least on the reliability it looks like. The rest is hard to say.

oooooohhhh its gotta hurt when Freddy says that , seeing as the Fiat is a fulll "works"car and the polo is a little piece of $#*& built in deepest darkest africa! and not "works"as you all like to put it! :-)

There is a rumour Jan Kopecky will start the 2008 IRC with a Polo and then move to the Fabia when it is ready. If so, I imagine his father's team CRT would run the Polo rather than Jan drive for Rene Georges.

This rumour is, ehm, bad interpretation of journalists. There was press conference, where was Kopecky saying, that it looks next year they wont start in World Championship and there is possibility to start in IRC. One journalist was asking him, if he will start (before finishing Fabia S2000) with VW Polo S2000. And he answered that it should be one of the possibilities...
