That looks like Max Papis' helmet. But I don't think it's him. I'm sure the car is an R99I.
Right Car, Right Year. :up:Quote:

I was going over some pics from the past few Long Beach races and I see a familiar looking helmet peeking out from a Lola. Is that Michael Krumm in a PRG Reynard at Laguna Seca?
You are Correct. :up:Quote:

It is your turn. Nice call on the chassis year. :D
R99I is my favorite Reynard for some reason. Maybe because JPM (my favorite driver) won the title that season.
I'll try to find a stumper for the next one.

Your turn Phoenixent - actually i`m not 100% sure about the track, but the image must be taken either Detroit or Long Beach practice. Firstly i thought about DET as well but Chris confused me a bit...
Nice photo. Like the helmet he is wearing it's another "Star Blazers" style paint job. :DQuote:

Al Unser
Penske PC16-Chevy
Miami 1987 (practice)
Very rare photo.
Unser actually opted to run Penske`s 3rd March 86C at Miami but put it into the wall in friday morning practice. Then he was forced to use team`s only backup available - the unloved PC16 but his qualification time was too slow. The race organizers gave him chance to start under the "promoter`s option" rule but Roger Penske rejected it.

It looks very McLaren-ish to me, but I'm gonna guess Eldon Rasmussen, 1975, Rascar (whatever that is), FoytTC (Offy?)...track maybe Milwaukee or Trenton?
You are Correct. :up:Quote:
