Very nice news Jarek :)
I knew he will drive a Punto in Sanremo, but I didn't know he will continue with Punto in the remaining events!

Very nice news Jarek :)
I knew he will drive a Punto in Sanremo, but I didn't know he will continue with Punto in the remaining events!
Strange that this weekend Andrea Perego runs in a 207 S2000 at Trofeo Valtellina and is back in the Mitsu at Sanremo next week !!! I'd have imagined Valtellina would have been a test for a new car
Entry list for Azzano Rally ( TRT ) , with mr. de Luna in a 207 S2000 !!!
http://www.azzanorally.it/pdf/elenco-iscritti.pdf
Hoho :D
Note return of turkish driver Isik Volkan :p :
Edit: wrong thread :mark:
Trentin in the lead after SS3 but Arminen only +4.4" behind, Isik third... :D
Good times from De Luna on SS2 and 3 for his first in S2000 but big time loss on SS1(almost 2 minutes, probably puncture) :(
Was it here mentioned that Kris Meeke will drive Costa Smeralda and Como to help Peugeot for manufacturer title?
Very interesting news Mirek
After second loop of stages at Azzano battle for the win is still unclear, even if Trentin gets 6.2" advantage over Arminen(with three stages left to go) :D
Big big problems on the Abarth Grande of Martinis who keep on losing minutes on the three last stages :(
At the opposite big return in top8 for De Luna :bounce:
For Rally Como looks like Umberto Scandola and Andrea Carella(winner of trofeo 207)will get Racing Lions backed 207s too

SS1 Rally Costa Smeralda: the IRC contenders Meeke and Kopecky ahead in front of Ucci and Rox :p :
Normal, they had better road positions along the 20km long stage ;)
Normally this stage is running again(SS2, late by about 19 minutes)
Meeke is setting best time in second run trough the stage also. This time he is about 10 sec faster as Andreucci. Overall he has now about 20 sec lead to Ucci, with Navarra surprisingly fast in third and Kopecky in fourth. Rosetti went off the road on this second stage, while Basso is allreadyone minute off the pace.
Navarra has always been much better driver in gravel than in tarmac! I don't think that with this car is surprise in gravel!Quote:

If both of the 207s of Racing Lions finish in 1-2 positions Peugeot takes the lead over Abarth in the constructor championship...
So a kind of dilemma for Ucci :p :
Navarra?
:) :DQuote:

Basso lost huge time on SS4 :s and also Kopecky(+ 42" on Meeke, back behind Ucci on overal results) :mark:
Looks like no dilemma now. Racing Lions 1st and 2nd. If Ucci can keep Kopecky at bay, job done.
What tyres is Meeke using, is it also Pirelli or is he on BF Goodrich? Ucci is loosing massive time compared to Chris.
What happened with Ucci on penultimate stage, loosing too much time, Kopecky in second place overall now.
So, Meeke wins the rally, Kopecky is second (+1'07"7) and Andreucci finished third (+2'23"1), fourth Travaglia (+3'06"6) and Basso fifth (+3'25"1).
Does this mean that Ucci is once again Italian champion? Very poor rally for Abarth's.
Yes.Quote:

Incredible performance by Meeke here and I'm surprised how the IRC boys Meeke and Kopecky dominated this one.
Some same stages as on Rally Sardegna, so no unknown battlefield for them this time ;)
It was clear already before the start that Meeke will be the biggest favorite for the overal victory, as Andreuuci was concentrated yust on Rossetti. Believe me, when Rossetti went off, yust a finish line was in Ucci's mind! And on the first two stage he was also first on the road.Quote:

But even bigger congrat to Andreucci&Andreussi for their fifth crown !! As older Andreucci is becoming also even faster and this is unsolved puzzle for his competitors.
And now yust a relax drive on the upcoming Como Rally.
Umberto Scandola will drive for the last event of Italian championship-rally Como FriulMotor Peugeot 207 S2000. Maybe is this a first step towards new cooperation for next year???
Anyway, good luck Umberto!!
Yep Rally di Como is next week, and I can' wait :bounce:
I hope Andrea Carella will do very good too(he will drive a Racing Lions 207 as "present" by winning the Trofeo 207)
Entry list for the last round of CIR-Rally Como:
http://www.rallydicomo.com/2010/IscrittiComo2010.pdf
Very promising list, a lot of S2000 cars, especially as the championship is already decided.
Rudy Michelini for the first time with Fiesta S2000, good luck for him! And not to forget local gentelman driver Marco Silva, who will have some difficulties to adapt on Punto S2000-it a bit frustrating if your ''normal'' car is Focus WRC....

Yust three more stages to the end of ACI Rally Como and also to the end of 2010 Iitalian Championship (CIR): it look like Kopecky will win, Rossetti is traying to keep up with him, Andreucci is not in the hurry (no need for that...) and Basso had a puncture-he is not in a position to win anymore....Quite good pace by Corrado Fontana, he likes this stages,as he lives at Como lake....Asnaghi first in the 2WD category-a bit surprise for me!
Basso didn't start to SS8 due to damage from puncture :( And Ucci lost 3 minutes by puncture...
