Just ahead of Chmielewski after SS2 Rajd Krause(12th and 13th)both leading the 2WD ;)
It's shame for Chmielewski that he losing now with Koltun.
Bouffier is from other league, won second stage, Grzyb is fast, i think he will be 4 after first leg...
Why SS5 cancelled ????
Safety reasons, damaged electric pole.
Thanks Mirek ;)
Everyone can win one stage, not everyone can win the whole rally. Koltun is 30 seconds after Chmielewski at the end of day one :)Quote:

I just came back from my first Polish rally for a long long time and I enjoyed it. Although we were a little unlucky, because we were on the stage that was canceled. A driver in Opel Astra hit an electric pole in a small village and now all villagers are afraid that they won't be able to watch their favourite TV series like Dr House, Desperate Housewives and all that crap ;)
As for myself... All I need now is a glass of Belgian beer and a shower...
Oh no !!! Puncture again for Grzyb on SS10 !!! He's now back to 6th overall
SS11 Swidnicki Krause stopped ambulance and rescue on stage after crash of crew #46...I hope it's not serious :s we have enough tragedy for the week-end with Skoupil in CZ :mark:
Unofficial news are very bad. Fans on the stage saying about tragedy.
Last minute; Friend told me that rally is canceled
Oh no. Driver is dead. Source: http://swidnica24.pl/wydarzenia/wypa...ie-swidnickim/ ;(
Rally is canceled.
One weekend and two drivers, very sad :(
;( ;(
R.I.P. Sylwester Olszewski
This was really a weekend to forget, sometimes this sport is so cruel... :(
RIP ... what a bad week end...
R.I.P. What an incredible sad weekend.
After such a nice weekend, receiving such news is really a bummer :( , condelences to their families and friends :(
@Jarek: Which belgian beer? :)
Unfortunately, it was another tragic weekend for all rally fans :(
@mousti - I have a lot of Belgian beers to choose from - Grimbergen, Leffe, Gordon Brown, Pecheresse - which one do you recommend? ;)
Indeed it is :( hope the press don't write too bad on it again :-/ news is already bad enoughQuote:

Sorry for the offtopic :(
Rest In Peace Sylwester Olszewski.
R.I.P. Sylwester Olszewski, my condolences to his family and friends. It is just tragedy to loose two drivers in the same weekend. After coming back from a great weekend in Belgium, this is really making me sad.
Rajd Swidnicki (formerly known as Elmot) is usually a very nice event. I don't remember anybody losing their life on this rally. It's very sad, that it ended up like that.
Here my photos from this rally:

Here is a photo of the "fatal" car :(

do you know the old plate of the Grzyb's 207(KN S 063)??or is a new car??
Sorry to disappoint you, but I have no idea :(

Kajetan Kajetanowicz will most probably be the first private driver in the world to drive Subaru Impreza spec. C with a full R4 kit. The kit has just come from Stohl Racing. The next Polish championship round is Rajd Karkonoski on June 10-12.
http://www.rallyonline.pl/ft.php?idg=5264&pg_[go]=26
Three (maybe more?) R4 should be on Karkonoski Rally: Impreza (Kajto), two Lancers (Kuzaj and Bębenek) and one WRC in Lausitz Cup - Octavia of Matthias Kahle. Entry list is closed, but not yest published.
Btw- on the first day we will have polish championship (Rajdowe Samochowe Mistrzostwa Polski - RSMP) and Lausitz Cup, on second polish championship and second division championship (Rajdowy Puchar Polski - Polish Rally Cup). So there will be much to see.
Entry lists:

But why Kahle is on RSMP entry list with Octavia WRC and on Lausitz list with Lancer???
Good luck to Bryan Bouffier and Xavier Panséri for Rajd Karkonoski this coming week-end :bounce:
Mattias Kahle in superrally of Rajd Karkonoski without a single stage...what happened ??? :s
Kahle's Octavia WRC broke down. After winning all 6 stages, Bouffier leads the rally in front of Kajetanowicz, who loses 26 seconds to the Frenchman. Antoher 6 stages on Sunday.
Crazy crash in Karkonoski..

Yes, it's quite a famous story here in Poland. It was even described in newspapers outside of the rally world. This driver, called Ogryzek, was doing quite well in the Lausitz Cup classification, before this crazy accident happened. It's even worse than Scandola's accident in Ypres a few years back! They are lucky that they survived. The fire brigade couldn't get the car out of water for two days. Unfortunately this rally car, after two days under water, is now only a piece of trash...Quote:

If that's true.. it will be very interesting...Quote:
