I think that every year someone is testing on Sweet Lamb before Rally GB, isn't that true? For sure I remember Ogier and Prokop with C4 WRC two years back.
Well, Sweet Lamb is like a special complex and it might be in the list of some manufacturers for that regulation point:
66.1.1 On a testing site proposed by the Manufacturer or WRC Team and notified to the FIA.
Sweet Lamb also has several kms of roads that are not on the WRGB stage, similarly the Walters (Arena) Complex. Provided the testing is done in agreement with FIA / Organisers that the testing does not use any of the stage route, even if it is just a cross roads 'going the other way' it can be used for pre event testing.Quote:

Is this a Fabia with a Polo body, or is it a complete new car with 1600DI engine, as in WRC ?Quote:

Aha.. That could be very well be, because it's like u say a special complex that over the whole year gets rallydrivers to test there (great stage with everything in it so perfect for getting a good setup for UK rallies)! Although it's very expensive to test there :p .Quote:

Ott Tänkak test before Rally B with Dmack tyres
Well this doesn't have anything to do with anything, but does anyone know does Timo Gottschalk speak Spanish or was he just sitting onboard?
Umm English?
Why is Tanak going to drive with DMACK tyres? That is a shame for GB. Then we can't measure him against the best properly. Damn.Quote:

I agree, I was looking forward to this rally to see Ott competing with the big guys, but with DMack :( ...Quote:
