Are you local? Local knowledge is very often very valuable, but unfortunately not always.
This time you might prove wrong. There is high possibility that tomorrow evening will be characterised by some very light isolated rainshowers.
Then there will be very heavy rain overnight and until Friday afernoon. The weather is little bit better in the afternoon and Saturday morning. It gets worse on Saturday evening again and improves by Sunday. Also the temperature drops to only .+10..+15 degrees for all the rainy days.

I remember the event 2001 when some cars got stuck on the stages. Rapid heavy rain after drought does not go quickly into the ground. It creates some small streams, mud holes etc.

So, who manages their 10 soft tires the best? .. is the winner :-)

I value your information ofcourse, and I thank you for sharing it.

But I just dont believe it will rain that much, I just dont get that feeling from the weather. The weather changes very quickly here and for the last months forecasters have been wrong and wrong. That's perhaps why I dont "buy" there predictions as easily as I did before.

However I get the feeling that you are a bit of an expert in this area so I will believe you :D , I will take some jackets with me. However I am not 100% sure about heavy rain, not in the Algarve region I must say. It is very unlikely that we see a scenario like in 2001, very different carachter between the north and south.

Yes, bluuford knows what he is talking about, that is why I requested his opinion on the weather, lets see tomorrow and friday how the ford vs citroen startegy works out.

It´s very likely to be rainy days in southern Portugal this weekend according to yr.no.

Does anybody know if there's a magazine or program for sale with info about the stages?
