Putting Paddon in for Monte is obvious. Sordo hates it, and they don’t want to compromise Lappi’s road position for Sweden by having him score a few points here. Better to let Paddon have the seat time, score a few points, but by the time he gets back in the car, he will still be at the back and in a position to use his road position.
It’s not about maximising this rally for them.
Pajari is nowhere
Neither sordo nor paddon are obvious choises. One has gotten old and slow, and the other has no more relevant experience in the wrc.Quote:
