Looks like tyre choices are making a difference now. Looks like end of stage conditions have played into JMLs hands massively.
I dissent from the view that the Fiesta is the equal to the DS3. It's closer than the Focus to the C4 but I reckon that PS and JML are still having to over-drive to make it competitive and hence have the problems they get when there is no margin for error
Very quiet on the forum for a WRC round thread! Is it just you and me, Carlo? There hasn't been much talk about Ken Block either. Does that mean he is actually driving quite well?! As far as I can tell, he has been steadily pulling away from Manfred Stohl, not a bad effort! Comments?
Despite poor tire choice on fist half of day one, its been one of blocks better rallies, in terms of consistency. It's nice to see.
I am doing it hard sitting at home watching TV when I should be up north and part of it.Quote:

Tanak is looking good in the helicopter shots, he is using more road than most but is getting away with it and he is taking it to the normal four expected to be out front.
Mason has been starting all stages today on the starter motor and must be looking forward to service tonight where that will be fixed. From what I am hearing he will not have sufficent time to replace his power steering, another item he has been without the use of all day.
