Geko Ypres Rally

I would love to know what Meeke could do in the Skoda, as I still think he is the fastest overall driver in IRC.

The Skoda seems to be ahead almost everywhere now except really smooth flowing tarmac events like Canarias.. but it's only a little bit. Last year Meeke and Loix battled for the lead, both in 207s... this year Loix moved to Skoda but the battle was the same (just maybe Meeke is having to push harder than last year in order to do that)

Danica Patrick effect, but so far the US girl is a faster driver. But give Burcu some time, and she will improve. She has not that many rallies on this level, and Ypres is a difficult one as well !

There are some rumours that state the 207's (Meeke and Magalhães) will have motor evolutions for the Azores

That is a simple lack of natural talent , she will not get considerably better. Lack of experience means nothing , look at Neuville. He has driven small cars like her until 2010 (Ypres 2009 is an exception). He has limited S2000 experience just like Burcu and look at them: Neuville is 3rd and Cetinkaya was 26th when she retired. I saw her at Rally All Stars and she is very bad

Maybe Gronholm should train her as he does with others, I miss having more girls in rally.
No reason in motorsport that they should be worse than the men !
One of the few sports it is equal, and muscle has little or nothing to do with the result !

I did't say anything with Burcu being a female , I just pointed out that she is a very bad driver ;)

Burcu has done quite a lot of training in the 207 with Ogier already.

Congratulations Freddy on a great drive! Looking forward to seeing him on further IRC rounds now. I wonder if he might get a promotion to the works team again for Madeira?

5 different winners in 6 events now, although one car won the last 4 :)
