With one stage remaining in Vogelsberg Rally Germany:
1. Van Eldik
2. Wevers at 11"5
3. Wallenwein at 1'28"6
4. Gassner at 2'30"4
5. Kahle at 2'45"7
Rally Porto is also finished. It was an easy victory for Magalhaes. Stage 6 was cancelled. He took victory from Fontes at 2'08"7 and Peres at 4'36"2. If you see the time differences, and this in only 6 competitive stages, i think i am right if i say it was an easy victory for Bruno. :D
Vogelsberg Rally in Germany is finished also:
1. Van Eldik
2. Wevers at 3"7
3. Wallenwein at 1'49"0
4. Gassner at 2'36"0
5. Kahle at 3'44"2
So it was a close finish but Van Eldik kept his head cool to take victory by a couple of seconds.
Tha rally was run under terrible weather conditions. Fog and a lot of rain, just like in Portugal 2001. The stage 6 was cancelled because a safety car was stuck in the mud.Quote:

Pirelli rally in England is finished also. Quite easy victory for Wilks who took all but two stagewins. Classifacation:
1. Wilks
2. Hanninen at 55"5
3. David Higgins at 2'30"8
4. Flodin at 3'22"8
5. Morrow at 3'38"2
6. Jones at 3'45"9
Pitty thet Mark Higgins didn't make it to the finish. Stuart Jones did with the second MG S2000 but he was far off Higgins pace. :D
Drama for Van Eldik in Vogelsberg Rally. He finished last stage and was overall winner with 3"1 advantage over Wevers, but he clocked in too late at final timecontrol and received a penalty of 20 sec, so Wevers is the new winner.
What a nice result on the Böttcher Rally Vyskov !!! :bounce:
For you, but not for me. :( Jan Kopecký is only 9th, Karel Trněný 11th and Igor Drotár already retired in SS1 with his beautiful Octavia WRC. What happened with them?
Drotár had a gearbox failure after 3 kms of SS1. But he said he should compete in complete Czech sprintrally championship :)
Trněný had some hydraulic problems on first section (differentials and shifting). He had also one off to the field. He was very dissapointed and said they only cruised through the last stages.
Kopecky said he took it easy, not to make a mistake with his 2WD. He even didn't know his possition after last stage because he had no opponent in 2WD cars and had almost no chance against the fast 4WD :) First section was partly wet, second mostly dry and third completely wet and mudy and since there are some gravel parts on the stages it is not easy with 2WD...
Peták made two spins on SS1. Odložilík and Semerád were out on stage 7 (both hit the same bridge as Firla on the photos below). They both had intermediate tyres but it was completely wet and muddy. On the opposite side Peták was driving on cutted tyres even on those dry stages :)

Any results for the LRT Comines Rally in Belgium ???
It was Lietaer in Subaru WRC who won, Vermeirsch in Subaru WRC second and Casier in the Polo S2000 came in third. Freddy Loix abandoned before the start of the first stage with a gearbox problem on the Peugeot 106 Kitcar. The rally was run under fine weather, dry and sunny, with Lietaer setting te pace straight from the start. Casier was second but lost some time towards the end due to some mechanical problems. ;)

Second round of the new ORC championship in Croatia will take place this weekend (02.-03. 05.2008.) on the stages situated around Zabok, for most of the competitors this will be a preparation for the upcoming Ina Delta rally.
Reactions after first race in Čazma were very positive, so I hope this championship has a bright future.

Do you know if its already possible to drive with those danish rally plates outside of Denmark? Would be great, because so many danish drives using them now.
