To follow the Ticino http://www.cronocomo.it/web/2010/201...o10/index.html :)
2" gap between new leader Hotz and Virag with one 6km long stage to go at the Ticino ;)
But I think Virag will win, a WRC is stronger than an S2000
Rally Appennino Reggiano (TRA), another victory for Luca Pedersoli in front of his main rival, Felice Re! This time 13 seconds separatets them.
An important victory for Pede as he even increased his championship lead!
In three weeks another rally-San Martino di Castrozza, there is always an important fact the weather as the rally itself takes the route under high Dolomite mountains and some storms are almost every day on the schedule...
Not to forget next week's Rally San Marino, event of CIR ;)

I hope this time Ucci and Travaglia better on the Abarth drivers and Kopecky
Tom, if everything goes normal, I dare to say Andreucci will be definitely Nb.1 !! Gravel is his second home.....About Travaglia, well you never know.....http://www.motorsportforums.com/foru...ons/icon12.gifQuote:

Anyway, Rally San Marino is 50 km from where I live, so I can't wait until friday!!!
I envy so much...I was few years ago on this event, it is so beautiful, nice stages, nice nature around...have a good time and enyoy!!http://www.motorsportforums.com/foru...cons/spin2.gifQuote:

Start leg one(two 19km long stages)tomorrow from 4.40pm :)
Very good performance by the 2 Puntos on SS1 of San Marino, especially as they are sweeping!
Ugghhh, I take that back. I don't know what is going on, all the times keep changing every 5 minutes!Quote:

Because of yust one minute distance before start of each car, Andreucci deliberately missed one minute (10 sec penalty) yust to have more space between him and Yazeed Al Rajhi-and Al Rajhi was yust on this first stage 1minute and 19seconds slower than Ucci, who, normaly won this stage, but in the overall the lead has Rossetti. Wait for the second stage.....
Second finished, Abarth in the lead! But look at Longhi also.
CIR = Great! :)
5 cars gathered within 10"
But Travaglia, Ceccoli and Kopecky are already a bit far behind :mark:
Pics of the rally? In the past it was easy to find on rallylink.it.
Would like to see some pics of the DS3.
So Basso and Rossetti lead after first two stages, amazing! But that must have a lot due to them first on the road - sweeping is bad but dust clouds are worse!
Maybe I lost it in the dust, but i can't see any DS3!Quote:

As soon as I can I will post my video!
Bad luck for Arminen and Scandola who lost 5' and 1' in SS7 :mark:
A good recovery for Kopecky today! I wonder what caused his relatively slow times yesterday...
And Travaglia big puncture too in SS9 ;(
Paolo Andreucci wins San Marino :bounce:
It's only his second victory this year, competition is strong in Italy
Jan Kopecky takes second overall standing, Luca Rossetti third(a handful of seconds ahead of Giandomenico Basso)...
Good performance by Andruecci and Kopecky on San Marino.
Also amazing performance of Basso and Rossetti in a car that's "pretty old now" as Anton liked to say a lot.
Here is my video of the rally: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Syeo7lop8Bg !
Aaron Burkart in 207 S2000 this week-end at Rally del Casentino(IRC) :D

I'll take the car, drive a couple of hours and watch it live! :DQuote:

Looks like this Punto S2000 was trying to recreate that famous scene from the Italian Job!
It does look scary!
Interesting situation after rally San Martino di Castrozza: thanks to convincing victory for Felice Re at this rally both F.Re and Luca Pedersoli have equal points-to the end of championship yust two more races, both in south Italy (Sicily island).
This promises battle for every tenth of second.....
I am visiting Italy, staying in Cortona, Tuscany, for 2 weeks September 26 until October 8.
Is there any local rally happening within a short drive over this time?
Will catch IRC San Remo on the Saturday 25 Sept. as I pass through from Southern France.
Gianfranco Cunico and Cantaluka will leave Abarth to go to Peugeot from now on !!!
They will run in 207 S2000 in next week Rally Friuli Alpi Orientali(CIR) ;)
Furthermore, Cantaluka who already ran in 207 last year will use a rally this coming week-end to train and prepare well :)
