Something about a traffic jam caused by an accident. Some say that the cars are (actually were 1h ago) 130 km from service. Maybe just an early siesta.

Hi, the cars are closer to Leon city, few cars has the GPS turn on, the others show that they are still in Mexico City, all these from WRC+
Cancelling genuine competitive distance should have been the last resort. Starting the day at 1330 (or whenever), running the 4 gravel stages and cancelling the evening Mickey Mouse stuff was the sensible approach.
Why the hell didn't the fools ship the cars back to Leon overnight and ensure longer daylight availability, if not some additional competitive gravel section?
they approaching to Leon now.
The first "twists" of itinerary which you've suggested are simply not possible...this is a (WRC) rally, not some "village" race.
On the other hand, your second question is more sensible...I was wandering the same. Can't find any reason why the trucks didn't go immediately to Leon after the end of the second pass of SS1, but as late as in the morning?? Maybe some ban for big tracks in the night in Mexico, or?
yes, only 13km's left, i dont get why they dont just delay the morning stages, it would take only half an hour or hour to delay
What a farce...
