you just asked and answered your own question :D
i wouldnt call this domination any way https://www.ewrc-results.com/leg/523...lo-2019/?leg=3
but great to see him fast again, said they made changes to the car
Mikkelsen in 2011 and 2019 https://twitter.com/voiceofrally/sta...03933572820992

and BTW why a R2 cars now in Monte with new RC4B class? Any changing in regulation? All past years it's a simple RC4
Thats how I saw it too, I don't think he was ever going to make it at that speed (maybe on a clean dry road, but its Monte) - though if he'd had a better line with later apex he might have got away with glancing off the face of the wall instead of what looks like catching the end of it.
I guess its a bit academic now whether the mistake was calling it flat in recce or misjudging the corner / losing concentration on the stage, the result is the same.
Greensmith top Ford then.....
Yesterday Tanak was out from podium already from start, because of cancelled SS3. Mentally and also tyrewise.
Today is Another day.
Evans car should not be able to drive any more. Like someone said. Looked like an Heavy impact.
Gutted for Mikkelsen, Evans and Lappi but the win figth (and P3) is still on. Greensmith is doing a great job but with this absurd WRC2 split Bonato may start to get defensive; he’s a relaxed leader on his category.
Doesn't look that bad actually.
#Tyre info: Day 3 afternoon - SS11 & SS12
Hyundai/Tidemand: 4 MICHELIN Pilot Alpin (PA) studded + 2 MICHELIN Pilot Sport Soft (S6)
Ogier/Suninen/Latvala/Meeke: 4 PA studded + 2 SS6
Tanak: 4 PA no studded + 2 SS6
Ott is crazy if that is right
i refuse to believe it, yesterday they also got Suninens choice wrong
If the snow turns into slush with no ice below then non-studded tires are as good as studded and better on the dry. If only top layer of snow is slush and the bottom stays hard you have extremely slippery surface, more slippery than "dry" ice.
working well so far for Ott
It's just so much calmer atmosphere in Meeke's car with Marshall.
Meeke loves it ! ;)
nice one Ott!
Tanak didn't suffer snowy/icy sections...
Don't know if it was mentioned earlier . a good site for splits is Michelin ;

what a 3rd split from Neuville!
