Anfield was quite close, but not quite within 50, but it was close enough
Anyway I am sure I have read this recently.
I want to say about 1,750?

I'm confused  . What question are we on? :p:
Bridges on the Trans-Siberian line.
Don't need to too exact, to the nearest 100 will do fine!
To avoid confusion I'll repeat my guess of 10,000 bridges crossed by the trans-Siberian Railway.
Really! the railway is 9,289 km (5,772 mi) long and that's approximately 1 bridge per kilometre. Or is the statistic you have only for major bridges?
The info I have simply states that there are ---- bridges on the Trans-Siberian railway.
Here is a direct quote from the info site I use (with the number crossed out :))
Trans-Siberian railway crosses exactly ???? bridges
I think the problem arises where the railway divides off into 3 different routes
*Moscow-Vladivostok *Moscow-Ulaanbataar *Moscow-Beijing
My source was answering for the Vladivostok route alone :(
So if you take all three routes into account the answer would be close to 10 000
what happened here?
Howzabout 6500 bridges?
On the Vladivostok rout there are 3901 bridges. But as d-type pointed out there are nearly 10,000 if you include the Ulaanbataar and Beijing routes as well.
So I guess D-Type is due the next question.
I hope D Type won't mind but as the threads been dormant for a few days I will post a new Question
This is flag no longer in use. Any Idea what/who its the flag of?
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ration.svg.png
seems like a Pacific island country?
Nope
Ahem...
Oh yer..... Damn that sucks.
Go ahead Schmenke :p
Or you could not cheat ;)
Nah, someone else can figure it out... :p:
I think it's of a football club.
Marconi Athletic?
It should be some island country.. something in the Indian Ocean ?
wait I figured what you and scmonke are talking about..or atleast I can guess...but I am no cheater :p:
Closer Storm.
Its something to do with Islands, but not the Indian Ocean
For those who do not want to cheat it is not a nations flag. Its quite obscure so we will see how it goes
Looking at the colours, ie blue sky, white waves and yellow sun, is it related to independant Caribbean nations
Not a nation's flag..so it is like a commonwealth flag? but islands? Caribbean?
West Indies? as in the cricket team?
Between you you have it.
It was the flag for the West Indies Federation.
Anfield or Storm post away
no idea about any fed apart form their (now) rubbish team.
anfield have a go will you ? I won;t be online for a few hours

Where in the world is this?
I'll hazard a guess and say somewhere in New Zealand? :p:
ermm that kinda narrows it down to an area larger than Great Britain
In the far distance it looks like Mt Ruapehu.
I know this place...just up the road from Whanganui. (I love to say 'Whanganui', LOL)
wake up people.
I'm going to take a shot in the dark; New Plymouth NZ
So? No new question?
