Ogier some 5 secs. faster :O
Just 5 stages done of 18 but already 2 hours of driving!
Is there any info about road conditions on SS5 and later stages? The time differencies are small on SS5

Mikko not happy with his time. Could be a long season against Ogier
First few kilometers of this stage are dry or icy, the rest (majority) is snow. St. Bonnet is sure snow. Lamastre probably only mixed.Quote:

Splits are looking better than yesterday. We have improvement (not perfect though)
Impressive Novikov :)
Woooooh Novikov!!!!!
It seems Hirvonen, Latvala and Ostberg were not confident on this stage. I hope Hänninen feels more at home.
I think Østbergs time is quite good.

I am really surprised about Armin Kremer! He is quite similar with Sepp Wiegand!
Big suprise Finns strugling in snow conditions... what will hapend in sweden? Mikko donīt know what is wrong and its same with J-M.
Juho didnīt test in snow..
Hope they find more speed.. Flying Finns :(
Somehow I am sure the Finns will fly in proper snow conditions.
If you watch the onboard footage of the "crash" of Neuville, you can see that it is just bad luck! You see he cuts where others cut to. On the other onboards you can see them cut about as deep as the others. So just the weak suspension of the Ford to blaim...
Again, snow on asphalt is totally different to snow on gravel. Also different tyres and snowbanks in Sweden so I wouldn't be worried.Quote:

Weak suspension to blame? Come on.Quote:

From my experience I would bet it is. It's all high altitude on a cold plateau. Usually when there is some snow it's here and on Vercors stages (SS11 this year).Quote:

Novikov has a new set of studs. Other fords have two new and four used studs. Citroen and VW have studs, but Becks didn't know are they new or used.
ss6 lots of snow. seb has lots of snow on his car..game on
Novikov is fast so far and Latvala could be faster than Ogier...
Big lost for Bouffier in split 3, maybe spin
Novikov is faaaast :)
if Novikov is this fast and the grip is getting better, we might see the first ss win for Juho.
Look at 4split for Juho!! He is flying :)
This stage is by nature way fastest of all in Monte Carlo. It shall suit Nordic drivers more than the twisty ones. But the conditions must be tough because the average speed is 40-50 km/h less than when it's dry (record of Atko from 2008 was over 130 km/h)!
JUHO 1st in split 4!!!
Good time for Sordo!!!!
18:02 for Novikov. WOW!!!
Go Evgeny!
Nov and JML to catch the Citroen No 2s
Is Østbergs time penalty correct now?
