+1 i dont see it ok too.Car seems to change direction after the landing due to less suspension stroke?Definetely its not so good like the ds3/fiesta landings.Quote:

The smoothness of the landing was very good, especially on that corner jump where they flew sideways. It came down in a very predictable way every single time and nothing uncertain in it, always glued immediately to the road and continued.
Suspension travel was once a big thing , now damper control has taken over , the more accurate you can control the damper the better .
I`ll have to agree with the others, seems as like the car is seeking a bit after the landings also on one video where there was a small bump in the road in a corner there was clear chassis movement that`s definately disturbing IMO and the landings are fine if we were 10-15years back in time. Now compared to the DS3 and Fiesta they seem to be landing like a cat whereas the Mini "crashes" down but mainting driveability however which at the end of the day is the most important thing.Quote:

Juha, +100. Remember this -"the car is too ugly to be competitive", "the car is too tall", "suspension travel is too short", "Prodrive made a mess with the Subaru so same will happen with Mini" yada, yada, yada....Quote:

I was also at the test and gotta say that the 0,5sec/km difference to top teams isn't impossible. The car really looks stable. It doesn't have same kind of range on suspension like DS3/Fiesta but it's surprisingly good. The engine is lacking also some power to top teams also but the weather in the test was wet and heavy so the difference is hard to judge.
You're right!Quote:

Kimi would be happy if they could just finish the rally, but co-driver says that 6th place would be a realistic dream result for them.
And about next year, Kimi still says that all options, F1 included, are still available and that he could go anywhere he likes, but I suspect he is saying that just to keep the buzz going and to sell a few more of his signature caps. But he also said somewhere that doing rally and Nascar at the same time is tiring so maybe he will focus on something next year, who knows.
a realistic solution for mr icecube
UNEMPLOYMENT PENSION
But that's getting Finland to the same situation as Greece.. Too much unemployment pensioners....
But no dead who get pension sofar, lol.Quote:

I agree, I think the Mini looks a very good jumper.Quote:

thats a good question. if loeb might go to vw or retire from rallyeing next time he might get a chance from citroen, but will be always 2nd driver behind ogier then.(like duval was with loeb). if he could show up with the ford a bit...who know´s, maybe they would kick out hirvonen then. but if i was vw i also would have an eye on him, in my opinion he´s pretty mutch the biggest talent at the moment.Quote:

Sorry, took a little longer today. Long day, about eleven hours on the move due to tests, walking several kilometres back and forth. But still, very nice day. :)
Here's my video of JML's second test day.
mmm nice video, car lands off the jumps so nicely and Jarri Mattti looked fast, hope luck runs his way in Finland
Nice action there, will be interesting to see how differently the three cars behave jumping off the same jumps and bumps in the competition.
