So i guess the "TOC potentially being run by triple8 in a vectra" is still a rumour and no one has posted it, so i thought i'd add it here.
Just wanted to say, jeeeeeeezus!!!!!!!!!!!! how much ,money must he have to spend????? a works car, run by a works team, but not a works drive! and a seperate set up!
Would seem an oportunity has been lost by many a team owner!
Especially if you have BMW's!

Motorbase really have made those Toledos look very neat and tidy, I'm sure they would be would be fairly decent in the right hands.
Considering the shunts theyve had this year Motorbase have done a great job with looking after the cars. The plain white looks beautiful :D
When ever i have seen any of the motorbase cars ,either btcc or porsche they have always been very well presented.
Matt Allison qualified 10 at the last round at Thruxton in the white car. I'm really amazed that someone like Kartworld hasn't snapped these up! Better bet than those MG's!
Martyn Bell has mentioned he wants to FWD.

Any word on the drivers? They are supposed to be, according to touringcartimes.com, in talks with a number of "race winning" drivers.
Dave Bartrum seems to me, from what he said in ther above mentioned article, very aware he needs his team to have the latest equipment to challenge and he seems very confident and driven with it too. And with the combination of a good working relationship from Schnitzer and possibly the most popular and widely competitive racecar in the 320si E90 I certainly and very sincerely hope the do become a very strong promising team to go to for Independents with a history of winning races.
I would like to see matt allison stay with the team,ithink he did a good job in 07 ,considering he only had a team mate fully for the first half of the season.
He started the year as the new boy and by the halfway point while he was still learning he became the team lead driver.
Not a bad effort inyour first year.

Many will do the opposite and consider it not accounting for much, but for me, OK I admit it isn't world changing, but Matt Allison achieving the second fastest lap in Race 2 at Thruxton in an old works Toledo when not that massively quicker was the brand new factory Vectra of Fabrizio Giovanardi is a good achievement by me.
