In between you will have time to visit "remote service" in the middle of Kongsvinger town. SS7 is possibly the most accessable during friday with big parking places close to the main Road 20, but the stage itself isn`t representive of proper rallying as it is run on a constructed road along the big Glomma River. The stage is also very twisty in parts and will probably be the slowest stage of them all in this years rally.Quote:

Seeing the cars is only a small part, the journey of the rally is the addictive part because essentially you are also racing against the clock. You want to be at the next stage before the first car comes.Quote:

@dekkerm1 and beware off speedcontrol because there is more police in the region.
and what is the max speed in sweden?
Me and 4 other Irish lads are going out on Tuesday, can't wait for it, third year going.
In that area 90, but very often 80 areas occur. Audi TT is maybe not the best car to have for this rally as it's too low (some of the access roads are deep in the woods ;) ) and do not speed as Swedish police is very strict + roads conditions may vary and can be very slippery. Proper winter tires is a must! We have witnessed a "dutch" off (studless winter tires) 2 years ago and had to pull them back to a road from a ditch. Just take it easy and plan your route well in advance.
