My brother would like to know if his I5 laptop with onboard graphics would be powerfull enough to run RSRBR at 720p on his HD ready TV ok, I dont think it will but not 100% sure as its not really a very demanding game, anyone have any idea?
I'd also be interested to hear just how quick you fellow forum members are with the RSRBR version of the game, ie; what is your best time through Chirdonhead?
I've obviously got a lot of practicing to do to get close to the top guys online as my time is a relatively mediocre 3m 13s in the Focus 07 RC (RSRBR08 default set-up), 7 seconds shy of the top time and would place me around 15th fastest of all the recorded online times for Chirdonhead.

RBR itself isn't very demanding in terms of performance but the newer stages in RSRBR can be. It's hard to tell from here if your brothers laptop can run RBR at 720p without actually knowing what onboard graphics card it has. If it has the Intels HD series or even better graphics card then it should be able to run it but there is only one way to find out for sure and that is to install RBR as see if the laptop can handle it.Quote:

Up there beside Pirka Menoko, Chirdonhead is one of my favourite.. once I install RSRBR12, get a proper solid base for my Fanatec GT2 wheel/CSP pedals and make myself up a proper handbrake Im gonna persevere until I can at least get to within a second of that time. Wish me luck.. Im gonna need it. ;)
I did a 3:27 the other day with the S2000 Fiesta, but that was because I was trying to gain back some time on the AI on a rally and it was very very close to some big accidents in places.
I dont usually drive the S2000 cars but that sounds pretty quick Bruce...Quote:

I'm not the quickest guy out there, NeverKnow is very quick, was our champion here, but it was a 110% drive by me that day.Quote:

By the way Chepilevski is one of the fastest drivers in online championship at rallyesim and he can do miracles with car setups.Quote:

Yes, I can see what you mean... that C4 looks to be working very well and he looks quick. I've tried to ask him about his set-up, plug-in etc on you tube but it looks like I'd be better joining the rallysim forum and pm'ing him there... hopefully he wont mind sharing his car set-ups and where to find that excellent sound plug-in he appears to be using.Quote:
