Was Fabia prepared fully with S2000 regulations? Maybe it was lighter or had some other modifications? Probably nobody knows.

I only ask why they did not test more the car in gravel?
I guess that will come with time. It has often been proved it is easier to make an asphalt car fast on gravel than the other way around. Plus of course there is more asphalt in IRC than gravel.Quote:

Here is plenty of onboards :)

Grzyb decided that after he had lost 6 minutes (puncture on the last stage on Saturday) it made no sense to continue the rally for him. But he was very happy that he was able to keep the pace of Travaglia.Quote:

Generally, I have to agree that watching Fabia was really very promising. A fantastic drive from Jan! As far as I noticed, no major technical failure reported. But there´s one thing nobody mentioned so far: I was spectating at the SS 5 Pindula (some 5:50 min in the stage). Fabia´s engine was evidently losing power, not far from my view point the engine stopped for a while. It didn´t took long till Fabia left sounding OK again. I wonder, if all of this was done on purpose, but in my opinion some minor failure occured.
On the Barum website there is a quote from Jan saying he did have a defect on Pindula. Clearly nothing terminal though as the car kept running after.Quote:
