Deserved victory for JML. Ogier had bad luck that the corner appeared to be half-swept just after a snowy crest. No way to predict that several days earlier. Now you may say "why others didn't crash there too", but I tell you, If it was compact snow, Ogi would have won a lot of time from this corner only. He usually makes his notes to be on the edge and that's why he usually destroys others when he needs it.
Hyunday - it's not acceptable to make so weak suspension for a rally car. Also it's not acceptable to obligate drivers like TN and JH to drive so slow just in order to fill the data charts. There are people like Sordo for that and there are third cars for that. TN and JH naturally push and feel uncomfortably when cruising, so they make even more mistakes. Let them both push, one of them will crash but the other may get to 4th-5th place - much better story to brag in the media than now.
I do not know how certain is Tidemand for his WRC future, perhaps he only needed the experience this time instead of an impressive result. Tanak is the opposite. Ostberg - same as last year - full factory drive, no team orders and still FAR from the top times. Kubica had a disastrous rally, but the real bore are the polish fans who have invaded the internet recently.
OMG Evans crash was huuuge:

what about incident SS14 Ostberg vs Kubica ??

You're right in some degree. Ogier took this corner like he usually does, very aggressive on braking and accelerating. But seems he was right he wasn't very concentrated there, because the corner had reverse angle, impossible to do it aggressively in these conditions.Quote:

He gets it for situation on SS14 - spectator on the road who helping him get out from a ditch, when Mads passing him. Because of lack of warning triangle on the road. Not for blocking Mads on SS12.Quote:

0.39 in that movie:

Sounds like that the car retired due to "technical problem." I wonder if Elfin and Co are OK?Quote:

Once again I highlight this point which I've been talking for years: There should be an informative drawing in the official rally guide on how to warn following competitors if someone has gone off and there's an process of lifting the car back on the road and road can be blocked to some extent. These are potentially extremely dangerous situations. When our group witnesses an off, the first thing is to send two guys to warn others. Often even the marshals have no idea how to warn competitors, a little waving from 2 metres off the road is not enough... Basically you have to be on the road and use both hands on a big vertical move.Quote:

You have 2 beers just for @5:19Quote:

I don't if the cars have these but perhaps it could be a good idea to equip the cars with these as well
so that they could be placed to warn the other cars.
For onboard - 4 beers & 2 Jack Daniels. Tidemand is on promotion:

My opinions after 2 rounds.
The Fords seem to have too much body roll for hard surfaces and snow.
The VWs are definitely a superior build (learnings from Dakar perhaps?)
Surprising how competitive the Citroens still are
Hyundais have a litte work still to do, much pretty close to the pace so far
JML has so much talent, but his mind needs to grow stronger
Mikko seems to have some demons in his head. He needs to deal with that very soon
Mads has done really well for the second drive. All the financial pressure of previous years can take a toll, but he has worked hard
Seb is going to be under pressure this year. He will either come out of this as unbeatable, or will end up like Mikko
Kubica has great speed but has so much to learn
The financial crisis has robbed us of seeing an extremely good year. So many great drivers without seats, or full time seats Ott, Bouffier, Dani, Juho, and Atko.
Is there an on board showing whole situation? On this video Ostberg is driving like about 15 seconds behind Kubica who is moving quite quickly and makes room to overtake when the road enables this. Ostberg lose 2-3 seconds on this?Quote:

:D Lot of excitement there, a lotQuote:

No, if you listen carefully he says he had a close call, because no one was warning him before Kubica turned up behind the corner. You could see a man waving, but for sure not in the right way to make Mads observe there was something going on.Quote:
