Weather. for tomorrow.
Take your umbrellas out!
Currently it looks like stage 13 and 15 will be very heavy rain..all the time!
Turini stage, also heavy rain, but current numbers are indicating that snowfall should start between 1300 and 1400 meters. That makes up to 6 km of snow on Turini stage. Moreover, by the fist pass, the thickness of snow can be up to 15 cm, by the second pass, it can be up to 25 cm. So, lets see. I will get the latest update for mu weather maps tomorrow morning:-)

I've noticed that this is a regular problem in live onboards which are broadcasted in some TV programme... For average joe, it's weird if there's no narration. Therefore they try to talk whatever nonsense to prevent "silence". In Finnish Eurosport Jakke Honkanen sometimes says "now lets listen to pacenotes for a while..." but even those pauses in narration are too short imo...Quote:

Anyone got any links to any of the Day 1 or Day 2 full review programs from Motors TV or BT Sport? All I can find is a 2-3 minute review on wrc.com…….
Ogier was lucky (again) @ 40 secs. Another metre wider and it was bye bye. Fortune favours the brave?Quote:

I think FWD cars with less HP are easier to drive in these conditions than the Porsche, the Twingo is also more fitted for rallying than the Porsche.Quote:

You can see precipition (rain and snow) radar here - http://www.weathercast.co.uk/radar/france.html. A lot of snow and rain is forecasted for the region where todays stages are located, and it stars right about now! So very wet ir lover altitudes, snowy in high altitudes!

In his notes, Neuville had "droite i", which means something like "an unimportant right". So he normally that is easy flat, he just got surprised by aquaplanning/ice... What a pity, but as mentioned here before, it could have happened to anyone. Ogier and Ostberg could have been out on the first stage too.
Some impresions about Monte 2014 an 2014 wrc season so far!
GOOD - Kubica is competitive!
GOOD - Meeke is competitive!
GOOD - Hyundai is competitive, at least not very far back !
BAD - nothing!
I wonder what happened to that camera (remote flash device?) standing so dangerously close to Meeke's left-front tire ... :eek:Quote:

Turini starts to dress for the party: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BeQCyVcIEAAwIiV.jpg
Good morning!
The final day, and really looking forward to the classic Turini! :P
But before it starts 14.48, all you rally nuts look here for a live coverage of swedish rally championship in "sprint" with Petter Solberg in his C4 WRC, Thomas Rådström in a Xara WRC and many more. Put some of the fastest guys are sadly not there.
Qualify is live 10.30-12.30 here --> http://www.svtplay.se/video/1711148/sm- ... rally-kval
Final is live 13.30-14.30 here --> http://www.svtplay.se/video/1711144/sm- ... ally-final
And after the final, WRC Live waits 14.48 and Col de Turini! :D
we saw loeb in alsace when really under pressure :laugh: last monte he drove two stages and the tyre choice for next loop decided the rallyQuote:

Dimviii is right, Loeb was much smoother and tight. However when he did have to push 120%, which he rarely had to unfortunately, he would also make the ocasional mistake on gravel.Quote:
