Looks like I'm turning into a Kimi fan in some perverse manner. It's just so captivating to think how short the trip is from Monaco to Karlstad. He looks like a boy building a jump, but instead of Stiga sledge he's having something the other kids on the block does not have. Let's enjoy this while it lasts: when he finds a comfort zone at around 1,2s/km for the rest of the season there's not much to write about.
A little while ago.Quote:

Maybe but in fairness, if I had to dig my car out of a giant snowbank with a tiny shovel while TV people just stood there filming instead of helping, I'd be pretty grouchy too. We'll have to give him a chance over the season.Quote:

Where's TV show?
Looks like quite a big off.Quote:

Btw. Kimi`s attitude towards media and rally radio doesn`t surprise me one bit. Its just part of the picture.
Harri Olli is there too.
To tolis11: René Kuipers got stuck in a snowbank in SS6 and lost 20 minutes. Peter van Merksteijn sr. was in a snowback in SS3 and lost 5 minutes.
Thanks for the info Wim!!! ;) It seems that all the Dutch crews got stuck in snowbanks... :pQuote:

Kimi's 6th rally and 4th on the snow. That's why the surface he's most experienced with rally car.Quote:

I think Mikklesen will be a bit like JML, I have never heard of Mr. O Tanak before so I don't think he should be in a Ford works team.
What picture?Quote:

As for mikkelsen i see absolutely nothing other than a rich boy having fun with daddys money for the moment.
Can someone tell this BOUDICA person to inform us about Kimmi ??? i think he went to the bathroom 3 times this day and we don;t have a single report....come on boudica we want your walls of text and of course some comments from the PR he uses as co-driver.....also ask this co-driver if he feels he has a future rally star in his hands you know like the countless winningless stars he co-drove for...like Barratt
Tänak showed today very good peace with ordinary Gr. N car, setting the same times with S2000s.Quote:

Also M. Märtin is helping him a lot.
He is very good talented, but time shows how he will do in world rallying.
But he has definetly very good capabilities in order to be world class driver.
Unfortunately there are many talented drivers sitting at home because lack of funds.
It is a she. :)Quote:

I have one very nice experience with Tänak. Last year in South-Estonian rally spectators were cheering for "0" cars and watching and saying, vow, they are very quick. And the came Tänak with his GrN Subaru and passed us with incredible speed. Everybody (200-300 people) were quiet for nearly 10 seconds. They even forgot their mouths opened. This guy is really fast and determined. He was leading traditional GrN class today until he got stuck in snow for some minutes. And his starting position was very bad for today (39th starter). And it is his first ever Rally Sweden.Quote:

So it was solid bottom and very thin layer of loose gravel on top of it. an there was hard right going into hard left).
