Both Ucci and Kopecký complained that they hit some big stones which were thrown on the road by Lappi's crash. In the stage before he had opened bonnet and missed a junction.

with meeke and mikkelsen out i think he should try for the podium...

Actually it's Armin Kremer who drives after Lappi so they were doing most of the rock cleaning.
