I don't know. I knew the answer cos back in my student years I had a colleague who was living there. Besides, I am very good with african capitals because Ceausescu was always visiting those countries and we were flooded with news and documentaries about his " missions of peace and friendship ". So Mogadiscio, Kinshasa, Ouagadougou, etc., had become quite familiar places. :laugh:Quote:

O.k. here's a quick 'n easy...
For what is the James Caird famous?
I reckon the James Caird must be a boat, otherwise why do you call it "the" James Caird. If it's a boat, I'm guessing it's a British merchant vessel, because the boat was named after a Scot, by the sound of the name. Now what could make a British merchant vessel famous? Hmmmm. It was the first ship to be powered by nuclear energy. Or it was the first to be captained by a woman. Or, if I'm allowed three guesses, it was the boat which gave rise to the myth of the Bermuda Triangle when it sank in that area, never to be seen again.
Well Gannex, you got the "boat" part right... :p :
Was it the first to successfully navigate the fabled Northwest Passage?
Nope. Nice try Breeze.
