BT Sport's tv schedule confirms they are showing WRC All Live on BT Sport Extra.
On Thursday they are even showing Shakedown live & the opening ceremony of Rally Monte-Carlo.

Let's hope they do Eddie, lost count last season the amount of times I settled in bed with the TV on, waiting for the wrc highlights that were scheduled on the bt planner, only for it not to be shown at all as they preferred to put baseball on, or some other nonsense.
Can anybody tell me the best way to use WRC live with a Chromecast? The usual 'cast' button seems missing?
Ah ok, i'm talking about iPhone indeed.
I wonder if the coverage on BT tv will be nearer to live than the internet pictures ? Last year a car's stage time was in up to 30s before the pictures of it finshing...
I've used it before.
No, the delay is only there when watching AllLive via app or browser. TV broadcast (Atleast in Finland) has less delay and service parks, teams etc have the as live as possible stream available for them.
If it were there for safety reasons we wouldn't have seen Hayden's Monte accident or Kalle's Argentina crash.
Yeah I saw. Do those include those Extra channels though?
I think terrestrial analogue tv had pretty much no delay. Digital seems to have a bit more, and cable seems to have more than terrestrial. Those are still obviously much shorter than internet streams. I have no experience on the tv services provided through internet. They may have a bit shorter than browser streams, but still probably a lot more than terrestrial or cable. And even in streams it varies a lot based on technology of the provider and quality (rubbish pirate streams sometimes seem to have shorter delay than official streams).
I have asked for that for many years now. They replied that it was planned in the next update. But that newer happened.
If i cast from Chrome on computer and choose Cast - show videos in full screen on external monitor and press full screen button in the player.
Then the video will stop playing on the computer but continue on Chromecast. Don`t think it uses so much system resources that way.
It was possible to use Chromecast 2 years ago when using chrome on Android, but that possibility is removed. That was true Chromecast support
My assumption is just that the WRC+ stream is the default and sending it to television is a secondary outlet that will add to the latency, whereas on those football games television is the primary outlet. But I might be wrong. However, I also think there's a bit of director buffering latency for cutting off in emergency situations.
I´ve had opposite experience, live TV is aheas of all live.
What bothers me is if its like with football forums - people watching live on tv commenting about whats happening before those watching online have seen it.
Yeah, I usually keep ewrc-results open on another tab and have to hold back not to see the stage times in advance :D
My self-discipline is high anyways, if I cannot watch All Live directly live, I just close all social media and news sites, and re-watch the action later once I have time.
On the BBC Iplayer and others, it can be quite a bit.
During the World CUp, I was getting notifications from my sports betting app about goals etc well before I saw it on the Iplayer / ITV stream on the screen in the office.
It was like being able to predict the future!
Can you prove this because i'm 99% sure that the delay is exactly the same how it was back in 2017 when All live started. I have been in couple of service parks since the accident and the live feed played there is without any delay when comparing with splits, radio etc.
I doubt they learnt this lesson then, as they'd already experienced broadcasting Paddon's Monte 2017 crash on live television...
In all honesty I imagined a very small delay has been built in since the start. It's not unusual in broadcasting sports or situations where there is a known risk of something unpalatable being broadcast live.
