In overall, this rally has been a big disappointment for Finns. We had such a strong setup for this event, but I think all our 5 WRC drivers haven't met what was expected from them.

I'm most, if we can say "impressed", with Juho seems to be learning Fiesta little by little. His times are improving as the rally advances. It will be interesting to see what he can do later on this season when he is more adapted with Fiesta. Or in a Polo.... ;)

Very impressed with Sebs and Tidemand (despite the retirement). They are the stars of this rally so far.

Oh wow, Ogier started 2.4 ahead of Loeb and is starting last sector 1.9 behind... wonder if Loeb got the first splits and sped up.

Sebs, Tidemand, and I would add Grøndal and Al Rajhi as well - both putting in fast performances in WRC-2, Grøndal with slower machinery.

Jarkko is doing great yes, but all these guys need be able to drive clean throughout the event. That's the starting point. JML has proved a million times that speed isn't everything.

I think if you take the performances of the Finns with the performances of the Norwegians, you can still say that Sweden is a pretty Scandinavian dominated event. Unfortunately not in the first two positions...

edit - poor Hanninen! He's just given Neuville 6th hasn't he.

Of course, but... It has been proven atleast billion times that you need to have the top speed but in early years you are not expected to finish every rally.

Could it have something to do with his rallycross endeavor where he will be using a DS3? There were Citroen sticker on the car as well.

I myself have been disapointed to all the finns. Jarkko made too many mistakes, he has experience enough not to. Also expected Juho to be a lot faster, those times impress no-one and will be hard to get more rallies.

I mean, Tidemand with his little experience impressed a lot more than these two Finns who should have impressed....

Mikko well, just disapointing speed as almost allways and know even a mistake.

Some time ago, someone told that Mikko is the best candidate for WR Championship crown.. After two events.. he will probably end on 12 points. while leaders have over 40 points.. Good for him;-)

In 2003 Petter had after 3 events only 6 points and still won the championship.
