That is great news, alltough Sainz never drove a S2000 car before, i think his developing capacities are very good, and he also have a lot of experience in testing all kind of cars. So i think it is a good thing for Skoda if it is really true. ;)
Great news, I hope the S2000 version of the Fabia will be more competitive, than the WRC was!
GTA: Sainz seems to be confirmed ;)
Yes, there are some photos here...Quote:

Very nice car from a top tuner!
Can't get better!
Hope he has more luck with this 207,he's a nice guy and he deserves it!!!
Last 306 Maxi Donchev used was also rented to Racing Lions...
It was in 2004 when in Bulgária Rally (If I'm not wrong...)
Nice livery !!! :)
Images of the Bill Gwynne Motorsport entered MG S2000 SPORT that Mark / Rory will be driving this weekend in Belgium, are in the Image Gallery section of the MG S2000 SPORT FORUM - definitely worth a look if you want my honest opinion!
New 207 S2000 owners here in France, André Jézéquel and Thierry Beuron !!!! :)
Jézéquel will run with it for the first time this week-end at the Nord Deux Sèvres rally, and both Jézéquel and Beuron will drive their new car at the Rallye de la Montagne noire, french rally which want to enter IRC(we already mentionned it in the IRC threads) ;)
Can't wait to see their liveries :bounce:
any new???Quote:

I read that Proton homologation is under way. FIA found some issues which should be fixed before 1st August. If everything was ok, the homologation would have been obtained on 1st July.
Opel is said to be building Corsa S2000 according to http://www.rallye-magazin.de. The car is said to be developped by MSD and should start testing in autumn. Beside that Opel plans to homologate Corsa OPC as gr. N and A cars.
Roman Kresta will use on Rallysprint Kopna Peugeot 207 S2000 from Tagai. Now it is official.
Warm up for Barum? :)Quote:

It is a test for Barum. Kresta will drive Peugeot on Barum but not BFG one.
Is this car the same car he is going to use at Barum Rally, is the car any good? :DQuote:

Mirek, do you have any idea what car he will use during Barum Rally, because i don't think there are so many decent Peugeot's available, are there? Maybe he can use Kopecky's car if Jaan is driving the Skoda as a "zero" car. :D (Just joking). Can i ask you if you have stage's for Barum, or will you have them in the near future? Thanks ;)Quote:

About stages. Have a look at last year on http://www.barum.rally.cz.
City stage should be the same as 2007.
Stage Pindula is in reverse direction and a little bit shorter (cutted very fast few hundred meters before finish of 2007).
Stage Zádveřice will be almost same as last year in my opinion, only a bit different at start.
Stage Janišov is same but few kilometers longer (start part is new).
Stage Troják will be the same in my opinion.
Stage Komárov uses last year shakedow in reverse dirrection. It should be similar to what was driven in 2006.
Stages Kudlovice and Halenkovice are reversed but I think non modified reasonably from 2007.
Shakedown is driven on last year stage Slušovice in reverse direction. Map is here:

Thanks Mirek, if you could get your hands on this years stages would you be so kind to pass them trough to me? Thanks again. ;)
Apparantly FIA allowed differant ration for the Xtrac gearbox and offered a solution.Quote:

ProRally: What about X-Trac are You talking? MG and Škoda also use X-Trac...
I believe Motorsport News said that the Corsa could break cover within six weeks. With the car likely to be homologated on October 1st with a competitive debut a possibility before close of seasons this year.
Of course, i'd wait for official confirmation before getting too excited :P
Would Vauxhall(Opels for the UK market)have automaticly the S2000 too(an S2000 with wheel-driver on the right side)
FIA was looking at differant options for ratio of the XTrac hence the delay of homologation.Quote:

But I could be wrong... :D
I seem to recall that it will be branded a Vauxhall over here :)Quote:
