Sainz between wp8->wp9 gained from Nasser 1,02 min!
After 25.5 hours of racing Peterhansel and Sainz are DEAD even overall (after wp9) !!! LOL...
At Wp9 Peterhansel & Sainz are virtualy tied
Sainz gained half minute from Peterhansel from wp8->wp9!
Tomorrow the terrain doesn't have too many dunes but on Wednesday we have the largest and the last sand dune section of the event and then we are back again on "normal" terrain.
Quite in exciting stage so far, it looks like the Dakar begins now!
Interesting that the Mini matched the Peugeot on this stage. Also Loeb seems to have trouble with dunes, a specific Dakar thing, looks like he needs to come back next year to win it :D
I think if he doesn't lose too much time on the dunes the next 2 days he can very well win it this year as well, he is clearly the fastest of them all on the other sections, with Dakar you never know though.Quote:
