The first 2011 Silly Season driver/team thread

HVM Unveils the their new green-and-white car in Baltimore, its a three-year deal with Nuclear/Entergy for Simona. They're doing it as part of a push to promote Nuclear energy as a carbon free alternative to hydrocarbon fuels. Apparently there will be some activation/at track education.

That's a pretty sharp livery on Simona's car they unveiled today. Maybe sponsor a friday or saturday night rave and give out a few thousand glow sticks at a couple races ;)

Go Daddy is sponsoring Ryan Hunter-Reay this year. His paint scheme will pretty much be a flip flop of Danica's livery with the green and black.

And he has to carry Danica's helmet and set up her car (and get her lattes).

Snapple/Dr. Pepper came abuot via the 7-11 deal. 7-11 will still be an associate sponsor for AA, so it would seem that Snapple/Dr. Pepper would also remain associate sponsors. They might also be primary for some races, as they have been in the past, but not primary sponsors as had been incorrectly rumored late last year.

Ditto. Cannon and SDS make a good combo, and SDS is the top racing female in the series, if not one of the top drivers not driving for Penske, Ganassi, and AA. Drivers, engineers and crew members have been very impressed with her.

Sam returning to the 500 this year doesn't look so likely
