that happened to Cserhalmi in the last stage? He lost 5 minutes
There is some info from guys who tried to compare times of Kopecky on the special stage Pindula (SS2/6 - 18,97km, Loix won both of them). One guy was at the start, second one in the finish and they communicated via a mobile phone. And their results? Kopecky was 5 seconds faster than Freddy on SS6...Quote:

Im so interested on it.
I think if he drive like one more competitor, he can drive in top 3.
Thanks and regards.

Iīve attached a picture of Casierīs car after the accident. As you can see, no big damage to the car, both driver and co-driver are OK. After the end of the stage Casierīs been able to drive away (with a little help of mechanics in the boot of the car :) Casier was leaving a paving block road in a village, in the curve there was some gravel, he slided and slightly hit the bank of a bridge while crossing it. Pity Casier couldnīt make it to the finish. Although his VW is not a winning car, still itīs been a solid performance both from the crew and the car. Itīs been quite refreshing to see another S2000 than Peugeots and Fiats (and Fabia of course).

We had a very nice rally, and an awesome after-party. Loix was the deserved winner after a very good first day. Nice fight between Voullioz and Bouffier for second place. The Peugeot's were too fast for Fiat's, even if Fiat had a lot of problems. I think the only one who was able to beat Pug's would have been Kopecky. They don't give any official time's of stages, but i am sure Kopecky was very fast. It was difficult to take right splits, because they were allways starting at different moment, i mean not exactly on the minute. Sometimes they waited twenty seconds to start, sometimes they were starting early. But i have seen with my own eyes that the car is very fast. Stupid mistake of Casier, i know the place where he went off, he should have marked gravel in his notes. Pitty about Grzyb, who was doing fine rally, untill he encountered this problems. Nice rally also by Valousek, who made the triomph of Kronos complete with his fourth place, and also best Czech.
Alltough i am still a little bit dizzy after last night's party, we will start our journey back to Belgium in half an hour. Up to Asturias, where hopefully we will have an exellent rally also. ;)
Hi guys, I am back :)
I heard that Kopecky was fastest on SS2 Pindula in saturday morning. He should have been few tenths of a second behind Kresta on 7th kilometer (1,5 km before Kresta crashed). Kresta was 4 seconds fastest from competitive field there. He took wrong tyres for SSS and probably pushing too much. He went off in a slippery corner in very high speed keeping full gas in the ditch and hitting hidden concrete bridge. He said it was such a big crash he didnīt remember it. Interesting thing was only Loix and Vouilloz had cutted tyres on the rear. All other drives had slicks.
About Kopecky and Fabia. I measured him on SSS and he was 4-5 sec. slower than Voilloz every round but in fact he was entertaing the crowd more than racing. A lot of sideways action :) On stages I believe he was able to drive on the pace of front runners. He was also one of the most spectacular drives. Good thing is that Fabia made it to the finish.
It was a nice rally. Maybe first leg was too hard with only one service. It was nice to meet wwbroe and GTA :)
Loix, Bouffier and Basso were very agressive, Vouilloz and Rossetti like TGV. I was dissapointed by Butor and Bettega. In fact Honda has great sound and strong engine but it has very bad suspension. The car was very unstable on the bumps. On the opposite way I was impressed by Pavel Valousek who did great job especialy when going without power steering in the last stage :)
