The tracking system had also caused issues on the first loop, when Loeb's car was falsely registered as having stopped on stage one.
The officials then asked Citroen to disconnect sensors in Loeb and Dani Sordo's cars.
"For safety reasons and after consultation with the FIA technical delegate, the stewards permit to disconnect the boot and bonnet sensors of the GPS tracking system in car #1 and car #10 as this item apparently blocks the sending of signals from the GPS safety tracking system in these cars," said a stewards' statement.

Ostberg has penalty because of electrical problem. And there is also penalty for Prokop, early arrive to TC 4B...
There will be some war on these issues in the next couple of months. The british will emphasize any fails the system may show and the spanish will cheer how well their company is doing... the truth should be somewhere half the way.Quote:

the only war i fear is if some team dont believe at stage times...This will be the mess..Quote:

Not a single onboard (or any other video that is) in wrc.com from this day. I miss 2008-2011 when first videos were uploaded in the noon service break and major situations in the evening at latest...
Complete crap I'd say.
He studied Latvala's results and saw that this is the way to stay employed by M-Sport.Quote:

Hope tomorrow will be a better day. Typical Monte day weather wise but timing was a mess and Loeb is making a mockery of everyone else. And some people say WRC will be better without this guy...
stage 2 Burzet-St Martial at first pass time was for the winner Loeb 25,02 with 73,3 average speed
at second pass stage winner time Loeb was 21,54 with 83,8km/h average.
3minutes and 8 seconds and 10km/h bigger average!!
incredible how the road can change in some 5 hours.
No splits are ok, no relevant results are nok :)Quote:

Great start to the new era.
Worst case scenario is Loeb winning both MC and RS and decides to go on this whole season...Quote:

As someone mentioned the future of WRC was yesterday. Lets´s see what happens tomorrow.
I would think the worst case is Loeb winning the title with his current reduced schedule. On the other hand, it would mean some intense competition among everyone else.Quote:

Very much like I suspected, only Ogier's position is a suprise. Loeb dominate and others try to keep up. Finns way behind. There just isn't a Finn who feels comfortable in Monte :mark:
God, how much I love those Michelin videos...
