I am so agree with you. Like I told you before, there are many nice rally roads in Lithuania and they choose some forrest paths at the end of World.. that means 4 km from Belarussian border where you need visa to go further south than 4 km. This is beautiful region but these roads are not for WRCars.
Tänak described that he was driving like inside the earth :-P This rally has huge potential, unfortunately they have not used it properly.
Wow that are some seriously big ruts indeed!
official site after the ''breaking news'' with stages cancelled no more news after so many hours.
they adviced us to watch videos from past while waiting.
and they are trying to find some tricks for new viewers for rallies with shoot out.Capito thinks that the shoot out is missing for success.
No surprise why the stages were cancelled then, all of the cars would have been grounded if the 2nd runs had taken place.
Re: No news...
Thats why I left the 'too many gravel rallies' post to try to spark something to talk about in the long wait...
But no-one bites !
Roads choosen are not proper car roads. Made only with sand layers. No serious organizer choose such roads. I feel sorry for you guys from Lithuania knowing/saying there are so many other nice stages they could have choosen.
136 km/h average
136,88 km/h ;)
