Should have included realistic car sounds, rather than generic crap. Guarantee the S2000, S1600 cars don't sound anything like they should.Quote:

Milestone have renewed the FIA lisence. Don't know yet for how many years.
Give them a chance though. It may took them some years, but I have a feeling they will get It right
this time ;)
Oh that's bad news. Looks like Dirt 3 will be staying in the PS3 for a while then. It may only have short stages, but at least it has good car physics and good car sounds.
So everyone hates the game and it's not even out yet?!
After passing through these forums on several occasions over the months ive decided to give my ten pence worth,as a veteran to video games i totally agree with the instant haters to the milestone/blackbean wrc franchise, they have brought it upon themselves with their over the top hype and false claims to greatness prior to release of the last to iterations of the game, when in reality what they delivered where two of the most sub standard attempts at recreating this truly magnificent, historic Motorsport. As a small developer we understand their limitations financially, but when you take in to account they could afford to purchase the wrc licence and have seemingly acquired an extension to the lease they would then be able to put together a descent game that can fill a sizeable hole in the market left by evolution studios wrc and colin mcrae codemasters point to point timed staged events, they knew the market they were buying into and headline history suggests a small limited one at that, but don't believe the hype the above games sold in their millions annually throughout Europe then the greed set in and the powers that be went for world domination with dirt, motor storm etc etc to the dismay of the mainly european rally market, while these diluted rally titles have mass appeal they don't fulfil our rally needs.I have to mention RBR as it has kept rally alive but in all honesty it had a second coming due to the fact there was nothing else around, originally it didn't sell well. So until milestone delivers a truly current generation video game they deserve all the hate they get, seems we will have a clearer picture come the demo.
Well I think I actually have to agree with a lot of that, as I felt in many ways the Evolution Studios games (10 YEARS AGO!) had better graphics for their time and just seemed much more professional and at a higher standard.
On the other hand, the Miletsone games have included SO many features that I'm digging, that would never appear on an EVOS game. More drivers (14-15 was pathetic really, same for RBR), all those stats! The offline stats are absolutely amazing, I would only say add more. It adds another dimension for me and makes the game much more enjoyable. And there are more than the absurd 3 stages on Rally Evolved!
That last point must never happen again, as I was absolutely aghast 7 years ago.

Surely this isn't the final version of the game? If so, they have done nothing with the car sounds....
