Anyhow, enjoy the Aero's, who have been a pretty good team for a few years. The Hamilton Bulldogs (just down the road from Toronto and where I lived for 2 years) will also be by and they are a farm team of the Montreal Canadiens. They played the Aeros a few years back in the AHL finals and I was a fan of them more so than the Marlies. The Marlies just are a forgotten team in a city besot with love for the Leafs. The Bulldogs draw better averaging 5 thousand for most games.
I think hockey has always been a hidden gem in sport in the US. I know Americans love tough sports and love speed and excitement and it has always flummoxed me why they cant get more excited about hockey. Outside of a few states, it always seems like it is just a sideshow, much like Arena Football.
