Only 4 stages tomorrow?!
Flat out from ss4.
Watch the onboards videos from that spot at wrc+. it is about the middle of the stage. Very impressive!

Fortunato is driving the hell out of his decade and a half Citroen C2.
There are two roads leading to the stage start. Kalle chose the wrong one and ended up between TC and start, and therefore reversed into the TC.
My interpretation of the situation. Green is the correct line, red what Kalle did.

EDIT: Actually the road on the left would have been the correct one...the junction is not in road book at all.
Pirelli crews in R5 class can't keep up with the Michelin crews.

Highlights from highlights:
- quite a moment for Tanak on breaking yesterday (haven't seen that before, not the one with the fan video from outside)
- Meeke's SS2 puncture seemed to be caused by a loud impact in cut, todays wasn't shown
- Tanak puncture today wasn't very clear, multiple loud impacts but hard to pinpoint where it happened
- Lappi big impact in cut, Tidemand the same and looked like it was same section
- Mikkelsen with a moment on gravel on SS7
- quite a few shots with agressive driving from Ogier

which highlights you mean, redbull or wrc plus?
so Mäkinen sayin that they have also stronger rims but they have used them only on rally germany but they are thinking to use them also on other tarmac rallies.
The question that begs itself.. why try to save a few kgs on rims and get punctures that cost them rallies and titles instead. (like in Spain)
i dont get it either.
same question with the car. theres a interview with Markko Märtin in estonian autosport magazine this week and his answer to the journalist questions about Toyota breaking down last year because maybe? Latvala and Tänak handled it so hard, he says he doesnt believe in it and its because of the cars design flaw and hopefully it will be repaired quickly.
Both Tidemand and Lappi hit the same rock on SS6, and it says that Meeke also hit that. (Not Tänak what i can see on the onboards)
Pontus had a great stage there, only Latvala who is faster on the onboards. (PT Equal time with Mikkelsen when he hit the rock)
Hope Pontus can show some pace tomorrow.
How am I? Is there some sign marshals can decide who has common sense and stand on safe place, and who doesn't? What is the rule?
Security rule is - assume the worse situation with the passing car with the most stupid spectator possible. Then the chances something bad will happen are minimal.
Because lighter wheels = less unsprung weight = better performance and handling, and they obviously thought they would be strong enough after testing them.
I remember a quote (maybe not the exact words but the general meaning) once from a Porsche engineer at Le Mans - he said "If something breaks you made it too light, if it doesn't break you made it too heavy".
Can't understand why they'd use stronger rims for Germany and then not here. Especially after what happened to Tanak in Spain. Doesn't make sense to me and the weight gain can't be such a big difference that it massively effects performance?!
Take out Tanak's puncture and Meeke's two and they'd both be well in the mix for a podium.
Morning guys. Any info about weather conditions on stages?
