Just watching it, and Colin Clark called Karlstad SSS, the Carlsberg Super Stage.....ha ha if Carlsberg did Rallying! Carlsberg is probably the worlds worst lager so it's version of the WRC would be in a bigger mess than currently if even possible.Quote:

Nope - not until he has HSolberg's 6th position. Then I think he will settle for the points...Quote:

Hirvonen takes this stage !!!
What is happening to Petter? Submitted to no.2 driver this day? Looks to me this year he will be what Hirvonen was to Gronholm some years back. What a pity. In order to get a factory car to bow down like Ronnie Peterson did in 1978 to Andretti and Chapman.
He actually signed as nr.2 driver. Wilson explicitly stated that if Petter is ahead of Latvala and there's no driver between them he has to let him ahead.Quote:

He should be able to beat Østberg, though Sweden has been the best rally of the year for Mads in the last years.
Ladycup champ is still hunting for Ogier. Sliced more than half the lead on this one. Go, Andreas!
Ok no.2 to Latvala got it, but when he is behind he has to drive like a granny like Hirvonen in 06-07? He started the day just 2 secs off to 2nd place damn it.
Hmmm, Ronnie Peterson, probably the most talented driver ever to steer a Formula 1 car. And robbed of just reward by team orders as you say.Quote:

Petter is not in Petersons league.
He probably has to secure podium and drive safely if JM or Mikko crash out, and it might happen. Mads is closing though...
What if Petter is ahead of Latvala in the championship, it would be stupid to swap positions then?Quote:

Peterson was for some years fastest by raw speed, well Solberg was that as well in 2004. Peterson was hampered by the team, Solberg certainly was hampered by the subaru from 2005 on.
All in all, it's very hard to compare, but what can be compared certainly doesn't give background for talks about different league.
Mega place the last one! :)Quote:

I'm afraid we will see more punctures this afternoon...
I think Loeb can still catch Novikov....
Lets hope Hirvonen doesn't give up yet...
Ogier seems to control the ladycup champion...
Is Ogier already starting a big rivalry with his team mate? This was the reason he had to leave Citroen. So now he starts to f... up his VW-deal.
Looks like all his focus is on Mikkelsen. Would Ogier ever be able to contribute, so the pair of them will do their best. Even for a #1 driver, you have to be a team player and do what's best for the team as a whole. Staring to wonder if his ego is too big.
LOL...
Team-mate ??? when did VW offered the ladycup champ a contract ??
Also what ogier must do ? let mikkelsen pass him to prove his good manners ??
LOL or to put in in the proper context...
LooooooooooooooL
also Ogier was second fiddle in citroen...in VW he is the boss so if someone gets the boot its going to be the second driver...not Ogier...same like Loeb.Quote:

First ever stage win for Tanak.
Relax.... Mikkelsen still has a lot to improve. This is the rally where he's likely to do better, he's a specialist on this surface after all, like Ogier was in Monte Carlo.Quote:

First loop
Latvala
Hirvonen +1.8
Østberg +14.8
Solberg P +21.3
Novikov +34.3
Loeb +34.6
