It’s never the gravel crews, who pass 2 h 00 before the competitors who can give the las short good informations. Delecours had these persons yesterday and obviously not the others Team. If you don’t do that you take a big risk to lose the Rally. ;)Quote:

And a Twingo R2 10th and even Twingo R1 half a minute faster than Hänninen. They got time to make proper tyre choices I think and perhaps the road cleared for themQuote:

Onloy 20.2 between delecour (2nd) and Wilks (4th). What a night!!
Nothing is certain during the night stages....
1.17.9 between first and fifth!!
Bouffier too cautious???
I want to see more of Delecour in IRC, either in S2000 or a GT car, he adds to the event !
And I must say I am impressed by Caffi, and also young Tambay in his second rally.
Nicely poised for this evening now. Bouffier has to be favourite but I guess Loix, Wilks or Sarrazin have a chance too. Great drive by Delecour but he doesn't have the pure pace to win without luck.
Khhmmm... >Quote:

Skoda Motorsport says it was Hanninen's choice! (compared to Kopecky, wo didn!t have yet the right info at the time he was putting on tyres...)

With 69 cars left after yesterday, they should let all doe the rest - it is the century rally, let them all celebrate !
Looks like 68 started today in the morning and looks like Tempestini has retired in the stage. So, Elena is number 60! That means, he should be in :-) and only 7 cars will be out. Anyway, it is sooo long road section that it is highly possible that some cars still drop out before reaching to Monaco.Quote:

lets get the FACTS.
Delecour(whom i highly respect) till ss 6,the stage where tyres didn t have major role was 2,15 sec behind.Thats a 0,8 sec per km as his best ss times was constantly 7th-8th.Thats a fact, not what i think or what i d like.Today at ss9 was 1,16 sec per km slower.
So me and Martijns, FabraFan, urabus-denoS2000, Barreis and big Pug fan Tom206wrc as you saw we knew very well what did we said, even we didn t laugh as you said.
Of course we couldn t ''know'' that hole skoda works team will make such a mistake at tyre choose some days before as you could.
So as you can see Delecour is no near in terms of speed against today drivers.Only with snow tyres with spikes against intermidiate ones in some 5 cm snow.
So your faith about Delecour has to be about luck,or somebody else mistakes.
Tottaly mad these guys!! lolQuote:

Yeah I heard it, was on the first loop, read out your tweet and everything! I'm looking for the live coverage recorded, so if I find it I'll let you knowQuote:

I liked Petter's comment from the first day:Quote:

I like it cause too often they say the usual jargon

And this is about all sports.
Infact I woulnn't miss those stupid interviews at all
if they were to be stopped for some reason.
I was not able to follow the second loop live. however, when I reached home, then I decided not to check results and skip the highlights program. I waited until the whole live was uploaded to Eurosport player and watched it. Awesome, without any comments. You can watch the pure live show without any comments and stage end interviews only!
The Solberg comment regarding **** has a logical explanation. This is norwegian/english since I guess **** is taken from the norwegian word skitt that in this context means dirt.Quote:

Any news on Loix, smoke was coming out of the car at the finish of the last stage!
weather on last two stages anyone?
And where are you going to watch it? I mean web.
What is the weather in the last stages?
Not long till Turini night starts guys! I guess the top 7 will still be pushing pretty hard, and I am sure Petter will want to win at least one stage before the end.
My post from yesterday... I have not changed my mind. Delecour told in the morning that there will be no snow (apart from the snow that spectators throw on the stage). I think he was trying to fool us :-P It will be very cold, windy and snowy according to my prediction. But you never know on the mountains ,-)Quote:
