Having heavy rain on the roads could make them softer but it will also wash away and compact the loose gravel on the top. Difficult to estimate the amount of rain, but some of those pictures are showing puddles.

SS2, the longest stage could be very crucial, seems not difficult stage but its actually quite tricky. Could be big time differences on the first pass.

There's many junction turns and chicanes. You can win or lose a lot by getting the braking right or wrong, whereas when you're driving flat out the cars and drivers are close to the same performance. There's also many rhythm changes, from wide to narrow road, technical to fast-flowing, hard to soft, fast to slow, gravel to tarmac (I think three tarmac bits).Quote:
