Looking forward Ypres. What a fight will be!
Congratulations to Neuville on a fantastic drive, finished the job started on Canarias!
Nice to see Freddy look genuinely happy for Thierry at the finish.
Proud to be a Belgian! :D
Superb coverage from Eurosport as usual , plus almost perfect WRC coverage from ESPN = rallying is becoming really interesting :) WRC is now interesting , IRC is interesting as always ... Is it becoming reality ? :)
What can I say then congratulations to Neuville ! :)
Just one thing to add ... it's sad that they mentioned Henri Toivonen a lot of times and Attilio Betegga not once :(
Congtratulation to Belgium with two teams on the podium !Quote:

But a splendid exiting rally it was !
What a final stage...
Bryan Bouffier and Pierre Campana fought with each other and both made a mistake. Bouffier's car lying in the wood didn't look good at all, it's good they are ok (but since the start I saw him driving like mad, a lot of crazy hi-speed sliding already before crash). Andreas Mikkelsen needed just a few kilometers more to catch also Bruno Magalhaes. It was also interesting that Toshi Arai and Harry Hunt finished with burning brakes.
Anyway, congratulations to Thierry Neuville for superb performance!
Absolutely true , one of the last corners of his onboard was a very big understeer , it was clear he was at 101%Quote:

See you in Ypres. I'll be there on Friday and Saturday.
Unfortunately it looks like I have to cancel Ypres this year. We'll see...
My quick appraisal of the top finishers:
Neuville: Almost perfect drive. Put himself straight into the mix as a title contendor!
Kopecky: Good drive, but needs to find the "extra" that he can deliver sometimes more often!
Loix: Solid, but lacking the bite of his performances last year. Competition a bit tougher this year?
Campana: Really nice drive, even considering home advantage. Hopefully he'll get some more S2000 drives this year.
Magalhaes: Good result in the end, hopefully give him some confidence back.
Mikkelsen: Puncture spoiled an otherwise strong performance mixing it with Loix and Kopecky early on. Winning final stage was almost unnoticed amongst the other dramas!
Maurin: Maurin's result says to me that Ford have made a clear step with the Fiesta. Looking forward to seeing what Scandola (or others?) can do with it? M-Sport might be wise to send Hirvonen to Ypres if he really wants to learn how to drive on asphalt instead of poncing around with that touring car driver every year.
Gardemeister: Pretty much what I expected after Monte and Canarias. Tyres probably not on the level of Michelin but they pay the bills. Also think he needs to push harder....
Sandell: +8m28.8s. Patrik obviously found Corsica particularly hard, he is not THAT bad on asphalt.
