Will we have anything else than Abarth and Peugeot as S2000 cars in IRC this year. Any rumors of any other brand going to sign up ?

Is he doing the Hungarian championship???
With that expensive program,probably not...
Perhaps he could run short selected events of hungarian championship(like Fast Freddy in belgian championship)
Awesome, another driver in IRC. :)
The 5 IRC rounds for János Tóth may be true, but not exactly these rounds as i heard. ;)
His program should be Ypres, Barum, Portugal, Russia and Valais.

No, his programme according to Pluto is different:
28. - 29. 06. Belgium Ypres Westhoek Rally
12. - 13. 07. Rally Russia
23. - 24. 08. Barum rally Zlín
13. - 14. 09. Príncipe de Asturias
28. - 29. 09. Rally Sanremo
Time will tell us his selected rallys, and maybe they'll held a press conference aswell... btw what source is Plutos? ;)Quote:

What does this article say?
http://www.autosport.cz/clanek.php?cl=6134
Dani Sola will start at least in first four IRC events with Fiat Punto S2000. He will also start in Spanish gravel championship with Evo 9. His partners are Gapsa, Autosí and Cetelem. All his programme is not certain in the moment...
Thanks Mirek ;)
I was hoping him in a 207 though :mark:
That's great news. Another strong driver to IRC. I would have thought he would be a good bet for the BFG 207 on Asturias?Quote:

It was already mentioned somewhere that Duval and Auriol will be driving the Rally of Portugal, both in Grande Puntos S2000.
Yes, he should be there. The same about Andy Aigner and Bernardo Sousa with Redbull Lancers. I think that they will be there because of possible PWRC return to Portugal in 2009.
Armindo Araujo will be in the Portugal Rally too with the Ralliart Italy Lancer Evo IX.
At least according to this

But don't forget, Bernardo Sousa will contest the entire portuguese rally championship, and that's the main reason for his presence in this rally!Quote:

A guy who perfectly knows Gilles Panizzi told me the driver said to him that he will run full IRC probably in a 207(and not Grande Punto as previous rumour told) :)
We all hope so...
Loix testing is Peugeot for the East Belgian Rally next weekend:

His comment: very fast when full dry or wet, in between it misses traction, but he's working on it. :)
Thanks Haco ;)
EDIT: wrong thread :mark:

The article title says.... MAYBE an MG S2000 for First Motorsport, at least that is what babelfish translates.Quote:

Thanks for the pics Haco and Madeira ;)
It seems Jas-Motorsport gets already 20 Honda Civic R3
You would have what to make a real "Civic R3 Challenge" in 2WD of IRC08 :D
If Renault engages several Clio R3 and Citroën several C2-R2/S1600 in IRC08 too that would make a very interesting 2WD championship
Where do you get the info about the Honda?Quote:
