[Offtopic, may be] I am going to watch the rally only on saturday. I was wondering If I should buy ticket first from somewhere or I can go directly to the stages and may be pay there, because I am thinking of going directly to the stages and then to the service park. Any advices, this is my first Ypres rally.

You can't buy weekend tickets on the stages, that's all I can say.

Don't trust shakedown times: it started dry, when most ran it slow to do recky and than suddenly the sky opened en rain was dropping very hard. Seen very spectacular things, 3 offs too, where a lot of photographers, so pics later...

Need some sleep now. :D

Apparantly Jean-Joseph had an off (and rolles) in 6th gear yesterday, brakes weren't working. Normally they can start today. This is a rumour. it's for sure he had an off, the rest is not sure...

If it would possible to make the pickems for Ypres, well, my choice could be:
1. B Casier
2. L Cols
3. F Loix
4. E Ojeda
5. P Tsjoen
6. R Travaglia
7. A Navarra
8. N Vouilloz

and my feeling is that was a bad choice...too difficult! :p

Casier in first place? That will never happen in Ypres. I doubt that the podium will only for the Belgian drivers.

If we have rain I think the Belgium drivers will be in the top, that it was my idea....

And for sure Loix and Cols, which are very good drivers in rain. Tsjoen is not that good in rain and Casier is not an absolute topdriver.

Never say never, I would not say Casier has no chance. He has experience, he knows ypres and he has the car.

Thanks @ cricketfilms for the nice movies on his 2 channels!!!

BTW, watch out for Cols and Travaglia when it stays wet!!

My opinion is that Casier would be in a fight around place 8. He is missing ritm as well and it is his first rally with the Peugeot.

I think you under-estimate Luca Rossetti by not picking him in top 8 :p :

About Vouilloz he could be a great surprise, because yes, he doesn't know the rally, but he didn't know Turkey neither... ;)

What do you think about Freddy Loix's chances, guys? I personally don't believe that he can win this rally. He wasn't very good in the last editions of Ypres Westhoek, always a few minutes behind the winner...

I've been drinking only Cola and have the same opinion :)
Loix will be ahead... in the second league :)

My favourites for the win are Vouilloz, Garcia Ojeda, Navarra and Tsjoen.

I don't know what to say about Toth. This guy has potential, but he doesn't have much international experience...

Let's hope that both Polos will not fall to pieces on this rally...

Normally, without Super 2000 cars, all of these drivers would easily be in top 10. But this year things are not that simple for group N cars. I think that Cols and Travaglia will finish between 6th and 10th position. And Bruyneel? He is always fast in Ypres... but this time maybe 12th?
