saw the rear wing on Toyotas instagram story and as far i can tell its the same as in Germany.
i think they just tested something "extreme" or "new" in Finland for future maybe? (im just guessing), they did Turkey tests also with the Germany spec wing, at least Tänak like mknight has said and saw from the vids.

wait and see...
yep, massive change, like on the censored Finland testing vid. This will generate controversy. (like: "Were they allowed to run with twice as big wing as others for 2,5 years?")
Looks a bit tin pot compared to the previous version!! Highly unlikely that a big change like that doesn't impact in some way, whether it's small or more noticeable for the drivers...
Well in Turkey it shouldn't matter much except on that one stage. But come GB and especially Spain it should matter. Suddenly Fiesta comes up as clear favourite for Spain, but we don't know how much they had to change their wing.
Bit it's not going to make Toyota so much slower than the others, it can't be the only thing that was making them faster than the others so far. Nothing too dramatic will change, I suppose.
I'm not an expert in aerodynamics, but I would guess the windscreen affects more the top speed and acceleration, whereas the rear wing affects cornering speed, and I think the latter is more important in rallying.
Possibly, but wing surely has to be more of an effect in high speed cornering rather than low speed, where lack of screen will also be a factor.
It would be like running with a plastic bag held behind you, you can see the effect wind has on the carrier bag causing drag, would be the same as a car with no windscreen.
For sure the roughest stage of the rally, but only parts of it are like that.
Cake isn't nice equipment for recce ))

only 28 drivers left...
let´s see how many will start after shakedown...
Sounds like the engineers were maybe a tiny little bit sceptical but all 3 drivers unanimously chose these improvements to be implemented for increased performance. Must have been reliable on the test as well (plus in Sardinia with Juho), but whether that holds true in the rally will remain to be seen.
