seemed so to me too...he was very early off the line compared to Paddon

It's on 28:13 on the alllive SS1 vid.
Sunninen has his front wheel on the startline when the board in the middle changes color. So probably will get jumpstart penalty.
Car #93 has been given jump start penalty already. So why wouldn't Suninen receive it yet?
I think Paddon just dawdled and that gave the impression of his rivals jump start.
This is where times comes from:
All others were up on the kerb, Tanak is just with the right wheel on the grass.
What was imo easier to see was that both Ogier and Mikkelsen were very wide at the uphill left after the tunnel.

Paddon vs Suninen start in picture.
The board is still red (turns green next) and Suninen's wheel is on the startline. However, sometimes the sensor is a bit in ahead of the line so might be that he got away with it. In either case it's not like he gained 1s from it.

@CitroenPortugal's @zepedrofontes' #C3R5 could not make it to the start of 1st stage, having an engine issue at Ceremonial Start.
I can see @CitroenRacing's mech. going down to Fontes place at SP, inspecting the car w/ #Lefebvre in mind...
Is it just me, or are the Hyundai personnel in the official WRC instagram clip (just in their main instagram feed) standing in the most ridiculous position?... outside of a bend.
Not entirely sure it’s a good example to set.
Sorry, shit at posting links.

What did happen to the C3, did they get it going again?
Latvala said the car stalled hence why he lost time. Real day starts in a few hours.
No live timing on wrc.com?
2 minute starting intervals?
Hello guys, good rally everybody, let's hope to have some fun this weekend.
Dusty conditions?
https://michelinmotorsport.com/Evene...y-de-Portugal2 Michelin splits
Neuville 2.3 s faster than Ogier on 2nd split.
And Tänak already two seconds faster than Neuville on first split.
Ott stopped
Tanak under the bonnet!!
Kurat!
what the hell :(
how come they cant fix the issues with the car already, damn
championship gone basically now i think
When cooled down he should be limping towards stage end, wouldn´t he?
because they are a village team of nobodies.... 3 years and nothing changed with a huge budget because they have a team manager with posters of mitsubishis in the garage milking the stupid japanese. Don't they realise they have to change management and hire someone who doesn't choose his employees based on ethnicity ?
Ott still fastest in first split, lol
Damn thats a shame.
Sordo is flying
Now it was Ott´s turn :( It just had to happen to him also, because earlier Latvala and Lappi have suffered...
