Cutting corners eh Elfyn
Thanks FOX Sports 3 for such stupid mistake :(
I think it would have been way better if they didn't do such disgraces if they're not able to stream a simple live stage.
Meanwhile for us who enjoyed watching it despite certain shortcomings, I prefer it to stay.
You who don't want anything but absolute quality are welcome to ignore the feed!
Guys keep cool, it's just our opinions and views on the event. No need to be harsh on ourselves.
Fine, so don't watch it. You obviously stayed until the second to last car so it can't have been that bad.
Really, it is voluntary to watch it, you know?
No one promised you a rose garden, don't expect one.
Sheeesh people are expecting much from an Argentinian TV production.
Nice start for Evans for a change and also for Østberg on his comeback.
Win for Ogier.
... Aaand you get treats like a lost local Hahahahahaha =D
oh no, why did they turn off the stream just as that car got completely lost :D
Great run by Ogier
The production was ok actually, except for the commentary I didn't notice a huge difference to the usual live super specials.
I understand a bit of spanish and knowing the context I could make out a good part of what they were saying. The commentary was geared toward general public and seemed informative. They were saying things like how each driver did in previous rounds or years and who are the favorites, stuff like that.
Was this guy checking the type of tires being used? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...606f132240.jpg
I don't know what are your standard but I love the sport and I suffer when I see it raped like yesterday.
I think some forget we are talking about the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP of the noblest of the motorsport, it's not like "if you don't like don't watch it". It's like I want the motorsport that I love to be comunicated in a proper way because it is a wanderful thing and deserves it.
They had not a hard job:
-cars has to be heard
-quality of stream has to be decent (youtube amateurs guys have better quality)
-Action and times has to be followed and commented by people who knows what they are talking about.
3 simple tasks for the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP of the best motorsport in this planet.
The fact it was dedicated for general public makes it even worse, because they did not lived the real emotions.
End of rant.

Yeah it's very important to see when spectating rally
so rally starting in less than an hour, which m-sport car is the first one to have problems?
Here's my take on it!
This is a local TV production from Argentina.
Do they have experience with rally coverage?
Well the amount of high level events that would be broadcast in Argentina is one per year... So no.
Do they specialize in rally coverage like the WRC promoter team?
I doubt that they have only one job per year... So no. They likely cover soccer or other sport events for most of the year.
Do they have the budget?
Soccer is massively more popular, rally, comparatively, not so much... So likely no.
Did anyone anywhere promise the product of a lifetime?
Well... No.
We have been complaining for ages that the local feeds were not being used and that the potential was being wasted.
Now they have done exactly what we asked them to do and what happens?... People complain about that too.
I mean... Really?
It is completely voluntary to watch. It is bonus content, so treat it as such. You don't have to watch it if you don't like.
Rally fans are apparently the hardest people to please in the world if this forum is anything to go by.

First stage this morning is a real whopper. First 3km flat out then real tricky uphill sections over the mountain. Was very muddy on recce.

https://twitter.com/rallyargentina/s...71629920886787 The organizers are already worried about the spectator action on the shakedown. Let's see how many stages get cancelled :/
Sh*t coverage for a sh*t stage. Not an official WRC product of sorts. They didn't have to add it to the WRC+ service (not all local feeds are) but it's there if you want it.
Not worth losing sleep over - which I clearly didn't as I nodded off midway through the WRC field!
Move on chaps.. the real rally is about to start !
Just your average SSS I thought. There will be coverage of proper stages so no big deal.
Worth pointing out for the organizers is that small bags of sand will not prevent the drivers from cutting the corner.
And as usual with 3rd world paper countries the splits do not work yet... how unusual.
stage delayed...
the start of stage is delayed...
why WRC bothers with usuless rallies like mexico and argentina ? they have far bigger problems to deal with than a WRC round....
Seb quicker than Jari and Neuville at split one. Perhaps running first could not be a hinderence considering the rain earlier in the week

Oh I see this rally is going to be fun... & Ogier will win Imho.

Scrap that, Jari takes 5s out of Seb in the next 5k...

Seb missed a junction, that's why he's 5.9slower. Suggests there's barely any cleaning

No splits for the Citroens.
Where are the cars?
Tanak miles off it, miles off the pace
