I don't know If someone already wrote it, but the norwegian in a fabia R2, Henrik Elvestad, is a tv-host and comedian, that do things on tv to push himselves and make funny things on tv. Bernt kollevold, the co-driver for sweden, work in VW rallyteam with Andreas Mikkelsen, and won the "klasse 13", the class for older 4wd (gr.a/gr.n) rallycars in the norwegian championship in 2015.
The car is the famous Toyota celica Petter Solberg used when he won the National championship, with 25 liter of Oil on the roof. This celica is also the same chassisnumber as auriol was disqualifed in -95 with the modified air intake / turbo.
So also Jim van den Heuvel in his first event in the Lancer.
He's the younger brother of Jasper van den Heuvel.
And who is Maurik van den Heuvel who drives Scania truck in Dakar?

I need a rally pass to see the stages? In Portugal we only have permission to see in spectator zones, how it works in sweden?Quote:

To access the stages you will either need a rally pass or to pay entrance fee. Rally Sweden uses spectator areas as well but most people will walk along
the stage to find their own spot and I have never had any problem with that or being told that I/we aren't allowed to.

Strange that Kubica never appeared on that rolling entry list at all but is on the final list.
As others have said they probably entered on the off-chance something comes together and the organisers were happy to put him on the list.

Top seed of non-WRC entrants, par for the course. They did the same last year for the one or two WRC cars that weren't eligible for championship points I think.

I did think it was maybe strange that he wasn't at any of these Dmack Shootouts recently? Not sure if winning the ERC title somehow rules him out? But surely if he's got no money that would have been a great opportunity.
Dmack shootout is only for the drivers of that cup in WRC.
