If weather forecasts are anything to trust upon as of yet, it looks like a perfect weather during the rally now. Warm, around 25c and some clouds. Would suit me.

Some funny fact.
From SS Panzerplatte to SS Cléebourg (last stage of Rallye de France): 115km
From SS Panzerplatte to SS Blankenheim (first stage of Rallye Deutschland): 175km
Alasteir Fisher had withdrawn from the event. Perhaps something to do with how his looked after Rally Finland?
BRC Ulster and WRC Germany overlap, so most likely Fisher is going for BRC as he is second there, five points from Korhonen and Ulster is Fisher's home rally. ;)Quote:

Indeed it does. I put Neuville on the podium in my pickems, looking at this video, it must be possible if nothing unexpected happens. Let's hope it's a clean run and tight fight for Neuville, Latvala, Sordo and Östberg.Quote:

Ogier is the favourite in the papers, but it will be it's first Tarmac rally with the polo... Nuevville is one of the fastest Tarmac drivers available and expecting a lot of him if the setup of his fiesta suits him. He is able to win
Even if Monte Carlo is a special event, I'd consider it a tarmac rally.Quote:

Who took second place to the tarmac maestro in each of those rallies - JML. Sordo will have to find something very special as he only set fastest times last year when everyone else was cruising. Ogier is JML's only competition on tarmac form (oh, and the rock!)Quote:

By the way, Have fun next week, everyone!
Only SS Peterberg on Saturday is run in opposite direction compared to last year. Otherwise differences are small. You can find info how stages compare to 2012 edition here: http://www.adac-rallye-deutschland.d..._Itinerary.pdfQuote:

I hope Neuville has a great rally but remember in 2011 SebO won Germany and France in a DS3 - how much better will he be in the Polo?
Germany after puncture of Loeb, France after retirement of ... Seb "The King" of course. :pQuote:

Always? Abbring did recce in all WRC events last year. Both Meeke and Sordo did recce of all WRC events they didn't enter also, in 2011. It means that somebody is investing in them at the moment, which is a good thing. :) But no guarantee...Quote:

Tom, don't know about Sordo but Meeke did very few, maybe 1 or 2, recce rounds that year.Quote:

But agree with H, it bodes well for the future.
Ok, I remember it wrong then... :) Nice to see Meeke will be gravel crew in Germany. Also from my personal info it looks like the manufacturers (at least M-Sport and Citroën) have a lot of people for stage info/weather crew, only for this specific event. :)
Tom, I remember there was a discussion on it here during that year.
Although only in a supporting role you can imagine Meeke being on such a high being a member of a "real" factory team.
I think Kris was notes crew (tarmac) in Spain last November for Petter
A short question for our Czech forum members: can we expect some positive surprise by Tomas Kostka ? The itinerary should suit him-as a former circuit racing driver & serial winner of Czech Sprint rallyes- maybe top 8-place ????
Hard to say. He has no experience with foreign rallies and the DS3 will be a new car for him.
Kostka withdrawn? http://www.adac-rallye-deutschland.d...Entry_List.pdf
Consani also.
Now that's a disappointment. He could've shown interesting progress throughout the rally.Quote:
