I think Trivino is using Matthews Car - as he had originally planned a PWRC assault. He's obviously changed tack for this event.

Is the complete entry list available? I am told that MSport are running 8 Fiesta WRC cars.Quote:

comeback for atkinson, thats soo cool! nice! last time he did the rallye he was 2nd, hope he can at least get a top5 result.
So 30 entries, 16 WRC cars and 6 PWRC drivers+Ogier, Abbring according to
WRC-Fiesta in Mexiko*:: rallye-magazin.de
#WRC Rally Guanajuato México 2012 entrylist is now out Programme du Rallye Wrc du Mexique 2012
Brilliant to see Atkinson back!
Is there a national rally to go along side the WRC?!Quote:

Very good news. Atkinson deserves.
Very very good to see Atko on the list.
However, the complete list is not great. All the top guys in WRC cars are there of course, but only 2 Super 2000's and a total of 30 competitors...
But that doesn't mean the fight at the top will be bad of course. Atkinson might be a surprise. At least that's what I hope! :D
Awesome news!!! Hopefully Atko can keep it on the road and put in a solid performance!
Sorry, must have read it in the wrong context :)Quote:

He isn't on the entry list.Quote:

He has P3 in Mexico, that means he scores PWRC points in Mexico, he must be teamed up with someone.Quote:

I understand Malcolm let Chris drive 350+km of testing in UK in the last week or so.
I always thought he was able to push Solberg in their last year together so I hope Chris will do well.
The only bad thing for Chris is that Monster World Rally team have cut back their events to only 3 this year. I thought the 3rd year was supposed to be Kens full season etc but obviously priorities have changed.
Atkinson should be able to achieve at least a top 5 finish in Mexico ?
Well, one part of the rally was held in Nowray. Hungary was pretty far away from Mexico, last time I checked it on the map ;-) But who knows.Quote:

Those numbers (for Guest Drivers) in Sweden were 49 and 63.
That is 25% increase in entries:-)Quote:

31 in total on a WRC event is p*ss poor. If the event was interesting this low figure might be acceptable, but it's not, it's boring and regularly have competitors had rocks hurled at their cars by retarded spectators.Quote:

I was lucky enough to visit Rally Mexico last year, and I have to disagree with you here.Quote:

No Henning in Mexico???

You're absolutely correct Doon. And this is exactly the counter argument to those who think WRC should turn it's back on countries which support the sport, and follow the 'perception' of market size.Quote:

Does anybody know what will be the intervaw between cars - 2 or 3 minutes? And how many tyres each crew have?
Casual fans are still viewers, and casual fans can turn into hardcore fans. Viewing figures need to be up either way, and Mexico does have some good stages. But you are correct, 30 odd cars isn't enough, and by the time you add up retirements, maybe an R2 car will finish on the podium :DQuote:

Beautifully sums up why the WRC is failing! Well done.Quote:
